Giants TE Jeremy Shockey, who left Sunday's game against Washington with a foot injury, underwent a third day of tests on his right foot and ankle on Tuesday and the results showed no broken bones. Curtis Martin - RB, New York Jets 10/11/2006

Jets RB Curtis Martin is reportedly expected to attempt a return to practice as early as next week when he becomes eligible to come off the physically unable to perform (PUP) list. Martin, who has a bone-on-bone condition in his right knee, has been going through rehab and attending team meetings all season. The Jets will have 21 days to activate him once he comes off the list, and if the team doesn't activate him, he will be placed on injured reserve for the rest of the season.
