Illinois rolls 77 to 57 over rutgers covering the 8 chalk

Augustine big man inside named tourney MVP finished with 18 points...

Illinois shot 51 % from the field and 65 % in the second half.

The refs were terrible and really detracted from the game, I dont like experimental rules or refs....

The wake up call to Illinois was well received by this young team....

Carolina should be favored by 3.0

It is a mystery to me if this Illinois team can play it's 5th game in 7 days at NC and win..... my early thoughts are:

GUARD PLAY Experience and a lot of speed up front for Illinois may doom NC

Intangible Play: 2 Illinois players want this game so bad they can taste it, I look for the leadership of these two players Augustine and Brown to take this team to the next level..

NC at Home always tough even with 7 new players
