Alright, tonite we got the St Louis Rams at the
Cleveland browns. Should be a cold, wintery
game. And i believe that the weather will
definately have a factor on this dome team.
But let's look at the numbers.
Cleveland is ranked 7th in total defense yd/gm,
with a suprising 5th ranked pass defense that
not too many people hear about. Of course
this could have something to do with teams
predominantly running on the browns,
but there run defense isnt HORRIBLE. If you
look at the scores of all of the browns home
games, the biggest margin of loss has been
a touchdown, and that was against the
bengals. They have fared well at home and
right now, this is the biggest game of the
browns underachieving season. A monday
night game has been circled on there
calendar since the first game of the season.
The browns coach said that this team
does not give up, and they are fighters.
I can see them hanging tough against the
rams and maybe squeaking out a win.
The only thing that worries me is that
powerful rams offense, if they begin to
click and take the home crowd out of it,
it could get ugly. But I am going with the
dog this week once again. The Rams are
not a proven road team, and the browns
have played tough at home all year. If
they can minimize there mistakes they
will be in it at the end of the game, and
hopefully pull out a victory.
my pick:
browns +5.5
Good luck to all!
