  • Week 11 EARLY Leans

Atlanta visiting New Orleans and receiving 8.5 and the line is rising. I know Atlanta sucks, but they play very well at the Super Dome...

Atlanta is 18-1 vs the spread at the SuperDome.....

KC at Cinncy, Cinnci geting 7.0 and the line is dropping. KC is due for a let down and QB Kitna just may provide it, I look for Cinncy to leave it all on the field and keep this game close.

ST Louis at Chicago, Chicago is just plain over matched at almost every position in this game, Looking at the Rams Defense vs a very sorry conservative Bears offense this is a no brainer, leaning very heavy this week on the Rams.. Rams + 10 in my book.

I will laser beam in on these games, but at this time these are three I really like,

    Good Luck to all,

WOODIE12 does a very fine job capping NCAA Football, In fact last week he was 4-1-1- in his top plays.

          Thanks Carpet.

Lost big on the Vikings last week, hoping to capitalize on your Rams prediction this week.

          Best of luck everyone.

Carpet, Thanks for the words on NCAA foots. I will post my plays later today for college. Nothing sticks out too much this week in Saturday's games.

            My NFL leans:

Like your call on St.Louis for sure. If the Rams hit on all cylnders the Bears cannot keep up if it becomes a shoot-out. Rams D is good enough too. I have played the Rams -6 as my only play so far this week.

            Others:

Looking at the Saints -8. I think Atlanta gained some confidence last week but I see the well-rested Saints covering. Saints beat the Falcons 45-17 at Atlanta this year with lots of offense by McCallister and Brooks. But in the NFL it does not really matter how they played last time they met. Still up n the air and may turn into a no play.

UNDER 38 Arizona/Clevland--Just don't see too much scoring in this game. Both offenses suck right now.

Trying to stay off the Cowboys bandwagon but are worth a look a +4 at New England. Will look harder at this and see later in the week. Maybe too much of a public 'Cowboy' play now they are back in the spotlight--Much like playing Notre Dame in NCAA.

Will look at more and check back.

Three games in order of strength

              Just a couple quick notes,

              Rams at the Bears

Bears starting Rookie Cornerback Tillman this week and STL QB
Bulger will pick on him for sure with Holt running his way.

Marshall Faulk is 100% Healthy....Need we say more.....?

              Kansas City vs Cinnci,

The series dog between these two teams is 9-0 ATS.

KC does not cover big on the road averaging 5.0 pts per game cover.

Cinnci has covered last 6 in 2003.

              NO vs Atlanta

Still an awful lot of points to give when you cant stop the run, Atlanta ran the ball very well last week against the Giants.

And Atlanta loves the Super Dome ATS....

              Good Luck to all,

                CORECTION TO CINNCI VS KC

The Bengals have covered last 5 of 6 in 2003 not 6 of 6

Probably going to lay off New Orleans--like you say--a few too many points. A great no play.

I play one teaser a week in the NFL beccause the 6-7 points mean a lot with all the close games.

Probably the best teaser I've played this year due to both teams being at home and with a lot of motivation for both teams. S.Davis vs. skins--probably over emphasized in media but he still would love a big game. Colts off a embarrassing loss.

                    6 point tease--

                    Colts -1/2
                    Panthrs pick

My game of the Week is the Rams heading to the Windy City to take on the Bears.

The Bears say this week we are going to stretch our offense,
And the Rams will feast on it. I dont see Chandler having time to set up and throw many long balls. Rams typically play a 7 man front on Defense, but the front 4 of the rams are enough to limit chandlers pocket time.

                      RAMS will roll............

What's the weather going to be like in Chicago Sunday? Bad weather (windy and/or wet) will probably scare me off the Rams. They give up 4.5 yards per rush, and they don't have enough patience to stick with the running game themselves.

On the Atlanta game, I can't see putting down money on a QB who is averaging 3.57 YPP with a 41% completion rate. 4 weeks ago Atlanta gave up 500+ yards to NO and NO had the ball for almost 40 minutes. 8.5 is a good enough number to make me leave it alone.

Good luck Carpet - you have been on the money pretty much all year. Keep it up!

Sorry guys, really thought the Rams would roll....4th quarter wake up call makes this team dangerous next week , looking ahead with a 7-3-1 chalk.

Atlanta covers making them 19-1 ATS in the SuperDome...wow

Cinncy slays the unbeaten leaving it all on the field, all in all not a bad week

                            See ya in week 12
