Pardon my bulk email to you all, but I wanted to put something in front of you as soon as possible. I am the affiliate manager of Wager Profits. I know we are competitors in this industry, but we are faced with a very serious matter that affects us all. The recent legislation that has passed through the US House of Representatives sets the stage for a vote on the same type of legislation in the Senate and if passed there, the President will likely sign it into law. If this becomes law, our industry will be dramatically affected.

We have just put up a page at www.protectonlinegambling.com to try to encourage concerned people to write their US Senators to oppose this legislation. It's a very simple page with no casino branding that borrows content from other sites I've seen, but does not collect personal information. We are offering popup windows and banners in our program for affiliates to use on their sites to hopefully generate some support. Feel free to use these and give them to your affiliates.

look, the best thing that could ever happen to gamblers would be if ALL the sportsbooks get closed! I mean, it is a stupid way to waste your hard earned money and the ones that are putting YOUR money in THEIR pockets are the bunch of crooks that own sportsbooks.

Most of the owners have made their money stiffing people to get the $$ to open a book to continue stiffing people! Why do you guys think they are mostly located in latin american countries? because they know it is more difficult for the FBI to find them there! Why don't they all move to "civilized countries" if they keep bitching about the third world ones? BECAUSE THEY WOULD HAVE TO PAY TAXES AND DO EVERYTHING LEGALLY!

Guys,buy yourselves a new car and spend your money on its payments instead of wasting it gambling.

All of you should stop sending money to all the sportsbooks you use for 3 months...you will see how many will go belly up! All the ones that keep telling you they hold 100% of their post up funds in escrow accounts are simply bullshitting you. They spend your money in fancy houses, cars, whores, drugs and buzz...and you idiots pay all that with your hard earned money.

dude, that's a bit harsh dont you think? you are right, there are thieves in the business just there are everywhere but saying that no one should bet is just ridiculous. everyone is going to gamble and most of the places offshore are honest people taking part in something they like to do. and places that go belly up aren't all scams, some legitimately made poor business decisions that made them close their doors. they don't all live lives of luxury after stealing millions of postup dollars.
