  • Should I Withdraw My Money After Superbowl

In the past I have always lowered my balance in offshore accounts after the Super Bowl. Is it necessary? Maybe not. I am going to list several books that I think your money would be safe if you didn’t withdraw your funds.
    1.ROYAL
2.PINNACLE> I ADVERTISE FOR THESE FIRST 2 BOOKS ON THE LIST
    3.OLYMPIC
    4.WWTS
    5.BODOG
    6.CAN BET
    7.CRIS
    8.HERITAGE

I am sure there are others, but I am very familiar with these.

Some of you will ask why you should leave funds, especially you people who only play football. Why don’t the Books offer us a reason to leave funds? I just went over my IRA accounts and I was paid 1.9%. Cd’s are paying next to nothing and the stock market well forget that.

I am going to ask my books for an extra 10% bonus to keep my money. Think about it. In 5 months football starts again. If they give me 10% on my money for 5 months that would be more than 20% return on my money.

Of course if you think your book isn’t on solid ground, no percentage would be enough. I think I will get some favorable response to this proposition. I will let you know which books are responsive to this proposal.

    Good luck and Good Winning,

The list looks pretty safe to me, but I don't know any more than what I read and by then it's usually too late anyway.

I'd tell you to take a walk on the bonus request for keeping your money instead of cashing you out becaue I'd de-value the money I am holding (post ups) by 10-20%.

I am interested in seeing if you get a favorable response to your proposition.

lluvsports and cokecoke06: I have no problems with taking down profits. I am speaking of leaving deposist money up. If I can get a 20%+ return on my money with a solid book, I am going to go for the program.

One of you mentioned take the money and run. Some people take the money blow it on other vices and then when football starts they have no bankroll.

I am strickly looking for a good return on investment. In todays economy that is hard to find. You could say it was a tax free investment.

Thanks for the reply and I respected your opinions. SAT

Steve, I definitely agree that books should give you an incentive to leave your funds there. Offering an interest rate on balances is probably the best solution, though in many juristictions they might need a banking license in order to do this. Still, they could go around this my simply offering a silly armageddon prop on whether the world will end by a certain date. That way they can set their own "interest rates" by adjusting the odds on this prop.

This should be a differnt thread. But, I will respond. I have never heard of skytower sports. Why some people send there money to Books that are new and offer fantistic bonus is beyond me. In the future check the list. Maybe someone on this forum can give you some help. Good luck.

Playtown - if you have a payout pending from 1/6/03 isn't it more like 3 weeks instead of one?

Where did you check their backround and discover that they had a history of not paying?

What exactly led you to chose them?

Have you called to check on the payout? Who did you speak to and when?

How about some more info in a seperate thread?

Steve, keep in mind that a lot of books will not give you a 10% deposit bonus in the future if your previous transaction was a withdrawal.

WSEX was the first and only to offer "interest" on postup balances, although I haven't seen any in some time. Anyone know if this has been discontinued?

I THINK they discontinued this a couple years ago, although I am not certain. They may not be doing it to new accounts, but anyone with an account older than a couple years may still be receiving interest. It was a fairly low rate, like 3-4%.

If you are worried about bringing your money onshore.....you are much better off to open up an offshore bank account somewhere than to use a sportsbook as a bank. You are just playing Russian Roulette by leaving your money in a sportsbook for any length of time (and not using it)
