go to prepaidatm.com many people wont use them because you have to give them your social security number when you sign up,however i have used them several times a week for many months with no problems
stardust you are an idiot, you have said several times that"you are making untraceable cash traceable" do you really think that if "they" want to trace your transactions that" they "cant trace neteller, western union,or any other type of money transfer? yes i know al ross runs the joint, yes i know where they are located and yes i know the FBI does not run the joint, your phrase of untraceable cash traceable is really stupid and you should try to think of a different line, you have used it for several months,if you do not want to use pre paid atm dont use them, but your silly claims are making you look like a fool
There are a lot of people who don't want their SSN running around for a variety of reasons. Forget the FBI or IRS getting ahold of it. I plain don't want Al Ross or any of his associates having it! It can be used for identity theft and in combination with your name, credit card number, bank information, address, etc. can be pretty dangerous.
But if you're happy with it, that's all that matters.
What's the matter - don't like the facts? You ARE making untraceable cash traceable. Are you disputing the veracity of that statement?
If so, let's hear your argument, because so far you haven't disputed that claim, but only say that they can trace other types of transactions. That doesn't contradict the fact that you ARE making untraceable cash traceable using prePaid ATM.
International money orders, postal money orders - these are traceable? FedExing cash? Better re-think that position.
OK - so who is All Ross? What do you know about him exactly? How old is he? Height, weight, criminal record, last known address, prior occupation? Where are they located? I'd love to hear about it. And why do they need your SSN exactly?
You can think whatever you like, but the FACT remains that tying cash transactions to your SSN make it easily traceable right back to you - no if ands or buts friend.
Can you dispute that is a fact? No, you can't so instead of attacking the idea as flawed (because it isn't flawed at all) you attack the person as a "fool" because you don't agree with his factual statement.
Let me ask you - if you trip down to 7-11 and buy a pre-paid phone card with your hard earned cash, do they ask for your SSN? Do they even ask for any ID? What type of ID would you be willing to supply to get that pre-paid phone card.
They don't ask for any ID; and why is that exactly? Because in a cash transaction, they don't need it - do they? They get the cash, you get the card - deal is done and over.
Can you tell me why an ATM card would be different?
If you think this thing will help you move money and avoid scrutiny, you are kidding yourself. All the FBI/IRS/US GOV has to do in these post 9/11 times is breath heavy on someone and your transaction history is their's for the reading.
They don't need the info, so why give it to them. The only use is to identify/report your "suspicious" activity of sending $ overseas. It simply serves no other purpose.
They claimed it was an anonymous way to move cash at first didn't they? Well when you give them the information they require, all that pretty much goes right out the window.
Now somebody mentioned that is Ross was involved, stay far, far away. I don't know anything about Ross and after seeing what info they want my decision is easy.
Steer Clear of prePaid ATM - period!
If you'd like to argue the facts, come on. Just leave the rest of the crap at the door.
From reading other threads on other sites and from checking this place out on my own when they first started, I learned enough. Although a lot of very solid shops are offering this as a payment solution with no problems, so who knows
Supposedly, they need your SSN to do a credit check on you so that they can be more certain that you are not a chargeback risk. How much of that is true, I don't know.
If anyone is looking for info on Al Ross, just search this forum. I'm sure there are all sorts of stories.
Better yet, PrePaidATM stopped taking Western Unions for the time being (I guess someone caught on that the person collecting all the Western Unions was Ross' son) and they are no longer publishing their bank wire instructions on their website--you have to ask for them.
If you can't use certain (most) credit cards to fund NetTeller because it is a "gambling" site, wouldn't those same credit card companies prohibit you from funding this prepaid ATM account?
thanks...i'm sure someone will think of something to fund the offshores but, it may drive alot of guys back to the street corner and local tavern for action
