I have been using only Carib for a long time now. I have grown used to their excellent customer service. I recently tried WSEX and have grown addicted to interactive wagering (I'm sure I have some fellow sufferers in this forum). The online customer service at WSEX seems very good, especially the Live Support.

However, I have a concern. For those of you who are experienced, what is the usual procedure for a withdrawl request back to your credit card? With Carib, when I made the request the money was immediately deducted from my account and an online record made of the date and time the request was made that I could look at/print out at any time. With WSEX, the request is not processed until the next day and the money stays in your account until then. This I do not have a huge problem with except for the fact I could overbet. The problem I have is this:
There is no record of the request being made that I can access on their site. So if I forget how much I requested, want to change that amount, or want to cancel the request, I can't just see it online. Not only is there no record of the request, but if I were to forget I made the request and go to "Request Withdrawl", it shows the same amount of money available to be credited on my credit card as it did before I made the original request. Make sense? Is this a normal thing with books? I got the runaround from WSEX customer service about it. But it seems like if you can check on the status of every unsettled wager of every type, and every other transaction for the past 30 days, you should be able to review your Withdrawl Requests after you make them, right? Thanks for your help.

I don't use credit cards so can't really help you with that, but I'd be very carful in this situation. This has the recipe for trouble. As you say, what if you overbet. In the past I would have said not to worry. However wsex has recently shown a dark side in the way they treat their customers. They don't live by the customer is always right rule.
They recently told a poster here on this site to go f**k himself. They confiscated his money, told him they can do whatever they want cause they are in Antigua, and even challenged him to a fight.
The day any player lets a book treat him like that is the day offshore gaming is in trouble.
Hope you don't encounter problems!

If you've used a credit card to fund your account they usually make you credit back to the card first, otherwise they open themselves up for even more fraud.
Most sportsbook software logs the transaction as soon as someone actually enters it into the system.

I have the same gripes about NASA!! (www.betus.com).
When you make a request for a payout, the money is NOT taken out of your account until later the next day. Therefore, it leaves you open to "overbet" your account, because you also can't see your withdrawal request until they actually process it. (which, like i said -- can take from 24-36 hours!!!).
