WSEX gives different lines to sharps!

I've been with WSEX for about 2 months and had no problem with them until NOW
. I've been doing well lately and today when I tried to make a pick on a game online for 3 dimes at -3 -110. It waited for approval and then said that I had to do it at-3 -120..I went back to the screen, refreshed and it said it was still -3-110. So I called,..they said it was -3 -110 but when I said I want to lay 3 dimes..they said it was at -3 -120. I asked to speak to the superviser and spoke to Steve. He said that they now consider me a sharp player and there are certain games that they make sharp players play for -120 instead of -110.
Doesn't sound right to me. Anyone else dealing with this!?

I've heard of them cutting limits drastically, but this is the first I've heard of them doing this. Is this the only instance?

Has anyone else had this happen? They are not a good book if the computer says one thing and they want you to pay more. I have won some big money there before and never had any problem like this.

I agree Steve.
Remember it only happens on certain games so mabye you lucked out and didn't pick those games they choose to raise for sharps.
The superviser even told me that I can call up and find out what games they will play at -120 for me(again, everyone else -110)

I'd call and ask what games they would be so nice as to let me lay -120 and then after they quote the price I would UNLOAD at +100.

They explained it to me well in detail this time since they had extra time (as today is not NFL sunday). They said that for large betting sharps for NFL games on -3 and -7..especially -3 though ..they do it -120/+100. They said that because the software can't do it online, what they do is keep it at -110 online but for large betting sharps they make you call it in & do it at -120/+100. They said that "next year all games on -3 will be at -120 online like the other books". I told them that not all the books have it at -120 but thanked them for the explanation.
I guess if I would of taken Tennesse Titans last week I could of rocked it out at +100 and had an advantage over the -110 players.
All in all, WSEX is still a really good book & I've never heard of complaints yet on payouts.

I asked the head director, Steve Schillinger about this when I spoke with him, and he refused to discuss it, which makes me believe that yes, WSEX in fact does offer different lines to different type players...He told me since I was neither a news reporter or a sharp player, I should mind my own business and then he hung up on me. Nice customer service from one of the main men himself, hey?

Spoke with Steve this morning.....let's set the record straight on this topic......

The wsex online software was one of the very first. Back when the program was originally made, the logic to post a game at 3 -120 was not in the software. Actually, 5 years ago it was more common to move off 3 and go to 3.5. These days, the books don't want to move off 3 and instead move the moneyline.

So wsex can only list the games at 3-110......

At 3 -110, when the rest of the books all have 3-120, wsex will STILL give all players a dime at -110.....over that, you'll get a rejection message and will have to put the play in at 3 -120 or whatever the price may be.

They working on the fix, but it probably won't be done this football season.

Really can't fault them on this. They are still giving all players a better price up to a dime at 3 -110 while the rest of the world is at -120......

It's US against them. We're in this to make money and so are they. -120 will kill you in the end. Choose a book that will let you lay -110.

People seem to forget that in football, you're betting into a 20 cent line. No different than a 20 cent baseball line.

If they has 3-120 and +3 -120 then you could scream and yell. But -3 -120 and +3 even you have nothing to whine about. Either play the game or pass.

Those comments that were made to rlarsen just don't sit right with me. Telling him that they are in Antigua so they can do whatever they want. Telling him to F**k off. Challenging him to a fight. Who do they think they are? I have played at wsex for a few years now but those comments disgust me. We put our faith and trust in these places sending our money in, and they have the audacity to treat someone that way. That is total BUSH LEAGUE!
