I tried other methods and the one that I feel better is Neteller, this is very similar to PayPal.
Prepaid ATM, Securebuxx and any other methods will become secondary options, for me.

For all, keep in mind the “Leach Bill”, b/c Uncle Sam seen determined to make offshore betting harder for us. In my opinion he won’t stop it , but will put a lot of obstacles to make it for difficult for players, but remember the HARDER THE BETTER, more excitement to be in the edge….!

I was checking out prepaid ATM and a lot of the books use it.

Where did it come from and who is running it?

They said they are secure by checking record with trans union. It makes it safe against fraud and its easy but I they wanted my ss # too.

Any opinions on it and should I use it if its my only option?

PrePaidAtm vs. NETeller

Both seem to work well. Neteller's customer service is better (they answer e-mails quickly). Neteller's interface seems a bit more sophisticated. More books use Neteller, but PrePaidAtm is growing. I think many books like PrePaidAtm because it only costs them a maximum of $5 for a payout, and also they settle daily rather than weekly. You are limited to $5000 per day per transfer with PrePaidAtm. Neteller is $2500 per transfer, but many books (not all) will allow multiple transfers in a day. The ATM card with PrePaid is a big convenience, once you get a payout, you can immediately spend the money at a retailer or get cash at the ATM (limit $500 per day, $1500 per week). Neteller has a debit/atm card coming, but it is still not available yet. Maybe by the end of the year. Neteller is based in Canada, which is a plus. PrePaid is in Ohio, USA, which could be a problem with US regulators at some point. Neteller used to ask for your SSN also, but maybe they stopped that, I don't know. Both Neteller and PrePaidATM can be linked to your checking account, which is helpful in moving money to and from the books.

Why choose, open accounts with both and have more flexibility.

pre paid atm is owned and operated by allen ross. mr ross founded island casino and later unified gaming group. in 1998 criminal complaints were filed against jay cohen, mr ross, and several other owner operators of offshore casinos. unlike mr cohen, mr ross copped a deal with the feds. served time in a halfway house, and now has pre paid atm as his baby. think this place may be on uncle sams radar screen??????

PrePaidATM also uses bank accounts in the states. Not a good sign. So far they seem to be doing okay although their fees have recently been raised on transactions and there are rumors that they are going to be purchased by someone in Central America.

Al Ross supposedly copped a plea because of his son's legal problems and ended up with house arrest and a fine. Seems awfully light when compared with Jay Cohen's deal.

Aside from that, PrePaidATM requires an awful lot of personal information when you register.

Good question. I went to Network Solutions and got the domain name information for gpxcard.com. I didn't know there was a World Trade Center in Panama, but I could be wrong.

The websites are EXACTLY the same except for the name. Right down to the following VERY disturbing warning:

The GPXCard funds are wired to a bank account in Sacramento, CA, incidentally, the PrePaidATM cards are issued by a Palm Desert National Bank in California.
