    Steve,

i've known about your sports service for years now -- i remember when you would tout Lone Star on your comp phones years ago -- i had always thought you were a decent capper in a business full of con artists.

i've also lived in curacao and have heard many things about Lone Star and your relationship with them --

my question is, what do you have to say about this "interview" ??

(i can't stand the "interviewer", so i have taken some liberty in editing his name, but the content of the interview is disturbing to say the least )-- i had heard much of the same info in curacao but this is the first time i have seen somebody go on record

    ============================================

Shithead: And how long have you been in Curacao?

CORBY: It seems like a long time, but only four months or so.

Shithead: How many principals are involved in SirBet?

CORBY: Three bookies, an accountant and me.

Shithead: And have these individuals ever been involved in offshore sports betting businesses in the past?

    CORBY: No.

Shithead: I ask this because there is some talk that the folks behind SirBet are the same individuals who operated Lone Star Sports until 1998 when that book shut down and stiffed players.

CORBY: I was involved in Lone Star Sports. I was the Operations Director.

    Shithead: Please elaborate.

CORBY: The investors are the only people who know what happened on that deal. Steve Turner was the primary and owner of the Texas Sports Wire. He collected from investors but failed to put any money in on his own. I went down and set it up for him. I gave him $500,000, which I find out he pocketed. Over the course of time, he took out $3 million. One Monday morning he suggested we should just leave the island. I arranged for all our customers to be transferred to Sports Market. Everyone got transferred over to Sports Market. We took care of debts by selling computers and other equipment. I come to find out my landlord had warrant out for my arrest in Curacao for $22,000 to pay full year's rent, though I had to leave and was only there for a month and a half. It was a contract that I was going to have to deal with. I wanted to leave the island. I had family and two kids and I'm trying to get Turner for the money. Turner owed me thousands of dollars and my partner as well. I feel really slighted, but guys understand I made sure you were all taken care of. Lone Star was a great operation until Turner fouled it up. I've told the FBI everything I told you.

Shithead: How many people were involved with Lone Star?

CORBY: There was Turner and 10 investors. I gave every one of them my phone number and my parent's number. They tell me Turner is blaming me. The investors went forward with a civil suit and the FBI called me.

Shithead: How did the FBI get involved?

CORBY: The investors contacted the Feds.

Shithead: What was the FBI's reaction?

CORBY: There was nothing they could do. Their hands were tied.

Shithead: What have you been doing since Lone Star closed?

CORBY: Well I got back in the country club business. I was in food and beverage management before and we ended up owning a restaurant, my wife and I.

Shithead: You don't know where Turner is now?

CORBY: No. I heard he got chased out of the country club he was involved with though.

Shithead: Do you know if there was another book involved with Lone Star, called Casino of Americas?

CORBY: No. There was one guy who used to visit Turner and stay at one of our houses. I think he was part owner in Casino of Americas.

Shithead: There are three other people involved in SirBet?

    CORBY: Yes they are bookmakers.

Shithead: These people have money behind them.

    CORBY: Yes.

Shithead: And how long have you known them?

CORBY: About three or four years.

    Shithead: Before Lone Star?

    CORBY: No, since 2001.

Shithead: And you are saying they have a lot of money behind them.

CORBY: Yes. This past Monday we had to get new phone service that would costs a lot of money. I said we must spend about $50,000 to do this and they just said to get it done without batting an eyelash. We can piggyback off of VIP.

Shithead: So you have a good relationship with VIP?

CORBY: Yeah. I don't know if I would say it was good. Allistair is OK with me. Our CPA down here is very sharp. We helped Allistair with a contract because many of these guys are cavaliers down here, and he helps us a lot because of his stature in the industry. I wholeheartedly understand the relationship we need to have with Allistair. He plays an integral part down here in the industry.

Shithead: And the software you are using is expensive?

CORBY: That's another thing. We spent a lot of money on the software. And it keeps getting better. We have a great relationship with IGW (software provider).

I don't want to drag this out of the old shoe, but I will clear up a few things. As an investor I lost over 700 thousand dollars. No players were stiff by Lone Star. They were all paid. I could say a lot about Corby but the people that need to know, know.

Also I have no law suits pending against me by any investors in Lone Star.

Corby's comments, I gave him $500,000, which I find out he pocketed. Over the course of time, he took out $3 million, complete BULL SHIT.

I remember lone star closing up but don't remember them stiffing anyone. Never knew it was Steve Turners book.

Steve, I thought bookmaking was a profitiable business??
