Not the case at all BB. MajorWager has no stake in any book nor do I. I am a player. Fred on the other hand is a bookie, always has been a bookie and will continue to be a bookie. It is that synergy that makes MW what it is.

BigBook reneged on a contract. They signed a contract for 6 months. Pleaded with us to break the payments into two which we rarely do (wonder why). We obliged and they then stiffed us on the second payment. More than that they waited till the end of the contract to let us know they were going to stiff us.

During conversations with Jason, he told us that both this site and Sting informed them that we do not charge for advertising but instead accept affiliate programs ( I can see Sting doing that but I cant see this site doing that but I will leave it up to you to call him a liar). I told him that he could pick any book on our site and I would scan and email them the check of payment. We do not , nor ever have accepted affiliate deals. Offer stands for Sting and Brian as well. Pick a book and I will fax or email you their check. In the mean time guys, send me your checks from Canbet and CRIS.

I apoloize IF i am incorrect. However, is it not true that Fred OWNS apiece of MAJOR WAGER and also is involved with MAJORBETTING?

If this is the case, it is totally ludicrous for any book to advertise with you.

Fred owns 50% of MajorWager. Fred owns a piece of MajorBetting with 3 others. Fred has always stated that he is in the business. Nothing is different from the last 37 years. Nothing was ever held back. Fred has been disclosing since day one. As I said, the reason for MajorWager's extraordinary success is that he sits in the chair and I bet. Using an argument like... something that makes the site the best posting forum on the net is the reason they want out.... is rediculous. Good reason to steal though I suppose. Mind you any reason is I guess.

I can see how some would like to put it that way, especially our competitors. If ya cant get advertisers, make your competition look bad. Nothing worng with that either (doesnt work in the long run though). Not the way Fred or I operate but hey, to each there own. I suspect that this site does not work that way either. I wouldnt mind if the owners would comment on whether they said anything of the sort or if this is Jason lying again. I suspect the latter but would like confrmation the man is a stone cold thief and liar as well.

Mean time Big Book has stolen 6250.

I am not here to start a war but I am pointing concerns I might have as an advertiser. For example, was the contract clear in stating Major Wager has a ownership interest in a competing sportsbook?

If not, this is clearly a case of misrepresentation. Its the same as putting an ad in a newspaper for shoes and finding out the newspaper owns Buster Brown Shoes. Business is not run that way. Its a conflict of interest.

Do you feel you owe Fred anything for all the help he has given you? What would that help be? Referrals in numbers greater than any other book on your site?

Was Bodog a good book in your opinion BEFORE they chose not to fulfill what in their opinion a breached contract?

Outside of their not paying you, what is your opinion of bodog?
If they pay you, do they magically become a good book again?

You can't have your cake and eat it too. Thats to say, you can't have a vesyed interest in a book and sell ads for that books competitors.

Actually Bodog has always been a scum, thief book. They robbed the owners of Mayan of all their players. Lied, cheated and stole their DB. The owner is also under investigation for fraud.

It was my understanding that BIgBook was not the same owners but shared facilities. I found out later that is not the case. so...no I am not suprised. Hindsight is 20/20 William (hehehehe).

Fred has and is in the bookmaking business for 37 years. Nothing has changed, nothing new. He has been a competitor since day one.

If you take the time to peruse the site (which I have a feeling you do regularily) you will find that they have equal banner placement for a basic advertising package.

Well, that's about as unprofessional as one can get. Nothing like tooting your own horn. Business disputes don't belong on a forum. BoDog has stated their side of this tired story more than once. I'm sure if they decided to pay MW that the bashing would magically disappear. If they are such a bad book, why would MW have taken them as an advertiser in the first place, and would they have booted them once they found out if they hadn't known at first?

Sorry Major, When people are afraid they have something to lose, they post under a new name, as I have done here myself.
You must realize how awkward it would be for the owners of this site to respond and shoot you down using real names. And nobody wants to appear to be a shill for an advertiser no matter how they truly feel about MW being stiffed by Big Book/Bodog.

Major, Big Book/Bodog could put a gun to your head on network TV and these guys would still feel compelled to protect them. Do not expect loyalty from your "rivals" when it comes to reporting honestly, versus protecting a paying advertiser, no matter how strong your case is. It's not going to happen.

I think the original question posted in this thread has been answered. Who's best, Olympic or Bodog?
Anyone who wonders should take into consideration that Bodog broke a contract and defaulted on an agreement to pay for services rendered, and still owe over 6 dimes for said services.

On the other hand, Olympic is the cream of the crop. Olympic is not currently advertising with Bettorsworld, and Bodog is. This is the only reason why there are so many pro Bodog responses in this thread. It is almost laughable.

In our opinion BODOG is in the right. Thats too bad if you and MW shills feel different.

This similar atmosphere took place with Camelot where all the posters and ghosters from MW stood by while their money simply disappeared. Now, once again they reappear and blast a perfectly fine book with a stellar repuation who found itself in the midst of a BOGUS and LUDICROUS contract.

you can bet your life if it was BETTORSWORLD who owned a book these same people would crucify us.

This subject is closed. It is not fair to a top notch book to get hammered by people who make believe they were all ready to POST thousands with Bodog but decided not to over this incident.
