      I had read about them on another website, but wasn't sure how popular or legitimate of a site they were in the first place. Sounds like they are taking steps in the right direction though. Hopefully they didn't have many financial ties with Play121.com

        i hear their going to operate in costa rica now. they might have a license in both places. but what good is a license these days?

            Blowfish and Loboloco: Costa Rico has never, I repeat never, issued a gambling license. There is not such a thing in CR. The Books there buy a computer license only. The fee used to be $1500 dollars a year.

            Many books in the early years moved to Costa Rico because there were no gambling regulations in place. Also most of the orginal Books in CR were credit books with very few, if any, post-up players.

            In today's market we have found out, sometimes the hard way, the regulations of these small island countries don't mean shit.

              A license costs about $200 a year now I think. It depends on which barrio you are in. Its just a data processing license and anyone can get one.
