BETTORSWORLD COMING TO A RADIO NEAR YOU
Written by: Raj Vishnu
Bettorsworld, the top sports betting info Web site in the world, is advancing to the next level.
Bettorsworld co-owner Brian Georgia announced today that Bettorsworld will have its own weekly, nationally-syndicated radio show, starting in September.
"The Bettorsworld Show" will be co-hosted by Georgia and former Los Angeles Dodgers announcer Fred Wallin and will be heard live every Sunday night on approximately 50 radio stations across America, as well as on the Internet.
The 30-minute show will have lively discussion about sports, gambling and the offshore industry, and will feature guests from those realms, as well as phone calls from listeners.
The show can be heard from 11:30 p.m. to midnight in the Eastern Time Zone, from 10:30-11 p.m. in the Central Time Zone, from 9:30-10 p.m. in the Mountain Time Zone, from 8:30-9 p.m. in the Pacific Time Zone and from 5:30-6 p.m. in Alaska and Hawaii.
"We come on right after the Sunday Night Football game ends, so the timing is perfect," Georgia said. "Everyone who was watching or listening to the game and following their bet can then switch over to 'The Bettorsworld Show' and listen to us. We'll be the first show in the nation each week to discuss the next week's games and have the betting lines for those games."
"The Bettorsworld Show" will be much more than the typical-type program featuring handicappers making picks on games, Georgia said.
"We'll discuss the week's football games but we're also going to talk about sports in general, gambling in general, the offshore industry, Las Vegas and more," Georgia said.
The show will also feature contests, such as listeners calling in to answer sports trivia questions to win free betting accounts at an offshore sportsbook, Georgia said.
Los Angeles sportscaster Fred Wallin, who has been a radio broadcaster for over 30 years, will co-host the show with Brian Georgia.
Wallin, an expert on gambling, is a former Los Angeles Dodgers and Los Angeles Kings announcer who has hosted numerous national radio programs over the past 30 years.
"We'll be the only nationally-syndicated radio program in the country that will be discussing, on a weekly basis, the issues surrounding the gambling and sports betting industries," Wallin said.
The sponsor for "The Bettorsworld Show" is First Fidelity, a top-notch sportsbook located in Costa Rica, and one of the best and largest sportsbooks in the world.
The first airing of "The Bettorsworld Show" will be Sunday, September 1.
