inter book transfers

i have a friend that plays online quite large with several books and he has made reference to transferring fund directly between books. i was wondering if there is a common knowledge list of what books do this between each other. or should i just call each of the 7 that i use and ask them. anyone else transfer between books?

Probably best to call each one. Some books won't deal with specific other books, etc.etc. Their lists also change from time to time which can be an indicator of possible trouble.

One thing to also keep in mind when doing book to book transfers........when Aces went down, several players had done book to book transfers between Aces and other books up to a month before. When the shit hit the fan, many of those transfers never showed up........or did they??? No one knows for sure but the books involved.

Point being, you never really know your transfer is safe when going book to book.

Keep that in mind.

Some books will require payment to be received before they will credit your account, some allow general ledger balances to be carried that are settled on a weekly or monthly basis. This is where it becomes a problem, and books will often kick back late payments, causing the customer a lot of grief. Make sure you check with each individual book and that you are certain of your rights in the transfer. Like Jeff said, a good indicator is to ask which books they have stopped taking transfers from......this probably means they have had payment problems or have heard the beginnings of a problem.

I think most books on Antigua will transfer funds between each other.

But overall I think it would be faster and safer to just use Neteller (or Pay Pal... if you really have to).
