World Cup Contest Rules
You must be a Bowman International member to participate. There is no fee to join Bowman International and no fee to enter the contest.
To be eligible, you must have had a balance at Bowmans of at least $50 at some point over the last 1 year.
New Members registering for the contest must deposit at least $50 when signing up to be eligible to play.
Only one entry is allowed per customer. Customers having multiple entries will have only their first entry counted. Unless:
Any customer who Refers a Friend will receive an additional entry into the contest upon qualifying deposit, ($100), being made into the new customer's account. Make sure anybody who you tell to sign up to play in the World Cup Giveaway tells customer service your full name and where your from so you will be given access to your second World Cup entry. The new customer must churn his deposit once through the month of June for the existing clients second entry and the new customers entry into the contest to be valid.
The contest is open to all Bowman International members whether you play online or on the phone but all contest entries must be made online.
Contestants earn points based on the correctly predicting the teams to advance through each stage of the tournament.
Bowman International has broken down the 32 teams into 8 groups of 4 teams each:
First you must choose 2 teams from each of the 8 groups you think will make the Round of 16 for a total of 16 selections. You will receive 1 point for each correct selection.
From the 16 teams you have chosen above, you will select 8 teams you think will make the quarter finals. You will receive 2 points for each correct selection.
From those 8 teams must choose the 4 teams you think will be in the semi finals. You will receive 4 points for each correct selection.
From those 4 selections choose the 2 teams you think will make it to the final. Get 8 points for each selection you have correct.
Choose the World Cup winner.
1 selection must be made from your last 2 selections. You will get 16 points for picking the correct winning team.
The Tiebreaker:
Take a guess at how many goals will the winning team score throughout the entire tournament? This will be the total goals scored by the eventual winning team throughout the entire tournament.
**Contestants will have to fill out ALL parts of the contest in order to be eligible**
