  • Goldpalacesportsbook is stiffing me

I opened a Goldpalacesportsbook account thru Kevin at www.ultimatecapper.com on March 27 with $500 and a $500 bonus. I ran the balance up by winning and I never bet bad lines, calling them in if I saw any. I withdrew $1000 on April 9 and $2000 on the 21st with the clerks' approval and without sacrificing my bonus since I left more than a dime in there. I won big the weekend of April 27-28 and was unable to login on the 29th. When I called in they said that I now had to call in all my bets. I asked to have my online account opened so I could check my weekend play and I found two grading errors, one a Nascar matchup, the other in Golf, that resulted in a $2275 swing. The Nascar bet was $650 to win $500, the Golf $625 to win $500. Wiseguys bet nickels on Nascar and Golf????

I called and they quickly corrected the error, and I requested a cashout for my balance of $6,412. They said that Neteller would take a few days so I requested a check. They said it would be sent from Miami in a few days. On Saturday I called and was directed to "Tony", who I had never spoke to before. Tony said he thought I was a wiseguy with a syndicate he would not name. He said that he would review my account to determine if they would pay me. He pointed out that they have a wiseguy clause in their rules. He told me to call back on Tuesday.

In the meantime I emailed Kevin who did nothing. I called yesterday and sure enough they aren't going to pay me. Kevin stands by the book, even though he knows I'm not a wiseguy. By the way, Kevin even has a wiseguy plays link on the front page at ultimatecapper.com! I only noticed it yesterday since I like to play my own games.

I remember seeing complaints about grading errors, cancelled bets, etc. against Goldpalace in at ultimatecapper.com, but I didn't worry about it since it never affected me until the final day my account was open. I am unable to find those complaints now, because I presume Kevin has deleted them. I believe Kevin should stand up for me since he introduced me to the book and never told me they had a wiseguy clause to steal money from the players. And anyone who has followed any of my plays in the contests know I'm no wiseguy, and never have been associated with any syndicate. Guys I need your input here.

    loophole

WISE GUY OR NOT...is not an excuse not to pay. If you booked the action...you must pay.
However if you choose not to book a ceratin players action because you think its wiseguy action...YOU SHOULD PAY THE BALANCE IMMEDIATELY AND CLOSE THE ACCOUNT. Its not like the guy cheated, stole, or hacked into the database and changed his action.

DOG: I have never heard of Gold Palace Sports Book. I hope you get your money, but you should have been leary when they gave you 100% bonus on your original deposit.

Total Bullshit - it tells you a lot about ultimate capper and Kevin as well.

You lose and that's fine, but any winner is accused of being a wiseguy by these crooked books. Just hang a "For Entertainment Only" sign on the whole offshore mess, save a scant few.

The only good thing is your not out of pocket like some Aces Gold, Camelot, Caribi . . . customers.
        As Always - Good Luck,

        Sonny

          Unreal. Total bullshit is right.

Parlay Guru is right on the money.

It's ok if a book doesn't want to book certain action. They have that right.

But they have no right to STEAL.

Didn't we go through this with big NASA a couple of years ago.

Books like this should be avoided like the plague!!!

I have heard many books that take a player that got lucky and put him through the wringer to pay him. This generally means they are short on funds and just want to weed out as many payouts as possible.

You will often get stories that they have to study your play (if over the phone they will say they are going to listen to the tapes and compare voices, and look at the times the bets were placed, etc., if over the Internet they are going to say their technicians have to study the validity of the bets for breaches in security)--generally this does not happen and is a complete stall technique.

The tout recommending these guys should definitely step forward and have something to say for this, and if anything should retract his support. Bad situation, probably not going to have a good outcome, but I'd keep on it.

as long as there are internet sites willing to say so and so is solid as long as they are paid to say it, people will be ripped off. that pretty much covers every site on the internet so you can count on people being ripped off in sportsbetting for a long time to come.

Amen! I can't get over how players or potential players are so easily misguided. They take the advice someone who just fell off the turnip truck yesterday!

Instead of betting I should just open a book. Get a few morons to tell their brain dead followers how great we are and bingo, I'm making money! LMFAO
