leno and letterman have basically the same show---late night talk show hosted by comedian---so how come leno's show is rated tv14 and letterman's show is rated tvpg?

Yeah, I do. Letterman's show is more sophisicated humour, while Leno is a simpleton and couldn't come up with an intelligent joke if his life depended on it.

I like Leno personally, and I think the difference is that PG just means parental guidance suggest while TV14 means that the kids need to be at least 14 to watch the show. I guess the sophistication differences call for different classifications.........Comment
