Alladins update

Just to pass along what I can.....

Eddie is working hard attempting to arrange for his players to get paid.

He is doing what he can, and reaching out to virtually any other books that will listen.

There has at least been some progress in the last day or so that is encoraging.

I just wanted to pass this along so that his players didn't feel as though nothing at all was being done.

It doesn't have to be a one book deal.

Like I said, the last two days have been the most encouraging.

Eddie has made it a point to keep us updated and we'll continue to do so.....

I have a question for Eddie (or Jeff if you feel you can answer). I have an open bet on Connecticut (NCAA - this friday)with alladins that I placed on march 18th. Is that bet still standing or should it be considered void?

Just my opinion: that bet has to be considered valid.

Never Lose......I will get an answer for you before tip off......I would imagine the wager will stand.

On another note, I hate to jinx a deal, but based on the latest developements I believe a deal will be finalized very soon.

I have spoken to both parties and based on that I'm pretty sure the deal will go forward.

It appears at first glance to be the best deal to come along yet for a book in trouble.

I will keep you posted.

I also want to add my personal thanks for working on this matter. I haven't come out of my foxhole much lately, but I've been waiting patiently to see money since the Superbowl. I truly hope things are worked out quickly and we can start getting our money.

Still waiting....

Still waiting for that Monday announcement. Monday has turned to Tuesday.....still no word. Can't get through by phone. Is this another ruse to buy more time? If a deal has been struck, I imagine Alladin's would want to get word out pretty quick to help quell concerns.
