  • New ALL-STAR Sportsbook?

There's a rumor floating around about a MONSTER sportsbook opening up soon. I wanted to run it by the forum to see if anyone else has heard the same. I hear they are going to have an ALL STAR crew running the joint.

They are going to be located in Antigua, because Eddie, formerly of Alladins Gold, has connections there and is very influencial.

Eddie is going to share linesmaking duties with Charlie, formerly of Aces Gold.

Mark Del is in charge of all the marketing. Particularly the internet marketing. He just has a way with people.

Jason and JR, formerly of the Dunes will be brought in as special consultants for every phase of the business, particulary the money transfer department, where they can use their expertise in prompt payouts.

Monty from Caribi will have some undisclosed role as well.

Rick from All World will be in charge of training the clerks.

    Some perks will be-

NO JUICE every day of the week EXCEPT FRIDAY!

    100% bonuses!

They also promise NOT to be a clone joint.

I for one, am counting the days to the grand opening. Can't wait!

That's an insult to Rick. Nobody got stiffed at All World.

This sounds like a book I would be very much interested in. Are they accepting payments yet? And what is their website address?

No harm meant. Just couldn't resist. But I'd hardly consider it insulting. What's insulting is not being able to get every dime of your money from a book when you ask for it. He was the Captain of the boat wasn't he?

I'm glad for All World and I'm glad for GCS. Two happy endings after two nightmares. Maybe there is hope afterall.

Shifty is right about Rick, thanks to him the players got paid.

But Dragon is generally right about the ridiculous situation offshore. I share the pessimism about the industry as a whole. Five years ago I was jeered by my friends for sending my money postup to unknown sportsbooks in far-away places. It seemed that I was vindicated, having steered clear of many unscrupulous operators. For five years I enjoyed playing offshore without being stiffed. But alas, even the seemingly solid places fell prey to losses this past year, and those losses convinced them to gamble with my postup money. How can you ever regain confidence?
