Antigua has always been considered one of the better locations for offshore
wagering, however a local sportsbook, Timebet.com, has become a problem for many of its
customers.
This open letter represents a group of Timebet.com members who have been
unable to access our accounts for the past few days. Email inquiries have gone
unanswered and the website has been inoperative.
All of us have been proponents of the Antigua Sportsbooks, in that they have
been considered among the more solid, trustworthy and helpful of all those
available to sports bettors. Timebet.com seemed to fit the mold because of
its past performance, payouts and customer service. Needless to say we're
both surprised and a bit panic stricken because of the recent developments.
We have gathered the following information:

We have posted inquiries with the appropriate Gambling Forums in hopes of acquiring
information related to this company, but haven't received any reliable responses.
We have discussed the possibility of the following problems:
Server being down
Website hacked
Internet provider problems
Upgrades gone wrong
We understand a fellow Sportsbook is in question here and we certainly do not wish to
make any accusations unless we're able to verify them.
We are reaching out to Antiguan Sportsbooks to lend a hand with this problem. Your
location and knowledge of the country and the Sportsbooks located there would be a
great help in finding out what the problem is with Timebet.
Obviously with our financial interests we all hope there has been technical problems, but
it's difficult to find out from over here in the States.
We all are members of your Sportsbooks (or have been in the past) and have enjoyed our
experiences with each of your companies. We can only appeal to your charitable qualities
and ask for your help with either contacting Timebet locally, telephoning them or giving us
any type of information you might gather.
We can't tell you how much we'd appreciate your assistance in this matter.
