Typical lines may be offered in the following scenarios:
Scenario 1:
Game score is 3-0 for St. Louis early in the first quarter with St. Louis being a 14 point favorite prior to the game starting a typical line will probably be St. Louis 14,-140 or perhaps even 14.5 15.
Scenario 2:
The score is 24-23 St. Louis with 2 mins left in the game, but New England has the ball at their own 35.
The line in this situation could be St. Louis Pick 125 or something along those lines, although a quick big gain for New England will quickly change the line.
Big Positive of Wagerstreets offering:
Because the line is not fixed, (it varies throughout the game) Even if the game is a blowout early on, wagering will still be offered at an adjusted spread. How does St. Louis 24.5 sound if the score is St. Louis 21-0 midway through the 2nd Quarter?
