ABC Island (ABC) Top of the world (TOW) Loose Lines (LL) Announcement
As previously announced ABC, TOW and LL will become part of DPT (parent company of Jazz Casinos and Sportsbook) on February 4, 2002.
In order to facilitate the transition ABC, TOW, an LL will be closed from midnight to noon PST on Monday February 4. At noon on Monday all three sports book will be open for business offering wagering on all major sports, as well as processing all requests for payouts and deposits. The existing 800 numbers and web sites will remain the same.
Most of the special features that have been unique to these three books will be retained.
ABC will continue to offer special teaser rules, the ability to buy up 10 points and a 10¢ baseball line. Baseball totals will be offered with a generous 5-dime limit. ABC will operate as an independent book with its own rules and special features.
To assure the highest possible service most of the clerks will move from Jazz which has a reputation of having the best clerks in the business. Additionally, Mac who has been with CRIS for many years will be running the store during this transition period. As most of you know Mac is one of the best line movers in the world.
TOW will become an Internet only sports book offering a wide variety of betting possibilities. They will continue offer 1.05 juice and a 10¢ baseball line. Current phone customer of TOW will be able to switch to the Internet or transfer their accounts to ABC or Jazz.
LL will continue to offer a high quality out primarily for credit players.
Each book will have their own browser based online sports book and casino using the new BLR software.
A player may have an account with any or all-4 books (Jazz, ABC, TOW or LL). Players will be able to make one deposit and transfer to any of the four sports books or online casinos. One transfer per day will be free.
The Sportsbooks will be located in Costa Rica along with Jazz Casinos and Sportsbook.
