I think cascade uses the Wagerstreet software. If so, I like it alot. WSEX has always been great. The books that use the wwts type system, I like that as well.
I think it's really a matter of just being used to a particular software. I don't have any major problems with any of them.
My biggest complaint is being logged out after a short period of time!
I'll second that time out complaint. Very frustrating. What are they scared of? I think there's some browsers on the market that automatically refresh, which would probably help with the time out. Hopefully!
The one thing that is great about Carib's software is the way it takes "if" bets.
Say I play a game tonight at 6:00 . . . decide at 6:30 that if it wins, I'd like to play another.
With Carib, you simply make the second wager and they have a drop down box on the confirmation page that allows you to make it an "If" bet, tied to whatever bets you have open - like the one you made at 6:00.
All the other books make you make all the wagers at the same time - no going back and adding a bet if a prior wager wins.
If the books software "times out," then their software settings sucks.

Hello Group,
The reason for timing out is twofold.
A.Just sitting on a page you are tying up the operations bandwidth,in essence "clogging the pipe"
B.Security.
Yours, if you walk away from your account and leave it unattended.
The companies, the timeout is also the same amount of time in the call center, usually 10 minutes.
That should be more than ample time for you to place your bet and prevents the opportunity of heaven forbid "larceny" between a player and a clerk where the clerk could leave your account open and then either delete your wager if it's going in the toilet or place a bet for you on a 10 point dog winning by 10 at the half.
Some of the less sophisticated software programs even allow you a "window of opportunity" to beat the moves on the screen by just sitting with the page open.
Some of these antiquated software systems have a "window" as big as three minutes before the change entered appears on your screen and tells you the line has changed.
You want to talk about software that "sucks"?
How much does that "suck" for the operation using that software?
