  • QUESTION FOR MONEYKEEPER

hi,im mary and im new at this.i have heard you post and you sound like your very intelligent when it comes to this stuff.i am looking for a sports book,i am going to be betting about 500 a game(tops),i was wondering what would be the best book for this activity?also what is the best way to send money to them?also what is the best way to collect if you want to avoid paying taxes?is there a way to cash a check or a way to do something else to avoid taxes?its hard enough to win i dont want to pay taxes.i would really appreciate you helping me,as i have great respect for your knowlege. thank you very much

I'm not money keeper, but I can offer my two cents.

Best book for this activity? Any of the ones above or on the bw list. The all fit the bill.

Best way to send? up to you really. Western Union, bank wire, neteller, pay pal. All good methods.

Taxes? At this point I wouldn't worry about it. I'd concentrate on finding a place and sending the money 1st.

Like you said, it's hard enough to win.

          Hi Mary,

Sorry, but I thought you were asking somebody else a question. I wouldn't say I am intelligent, but I have been in the business for a while.

Disclaimer (Atty. in me coming out): I can't reccommend any specific way to avoid paying taxes.

That said, if you are betting a nickel a game, then I suggest you hire a good tax attorney or accountant. They are not that expensive, and worth every penny for their advice. If it is a tax attorney, remember you to be completely honest and open with him, you have complete confidentiality. Just tell him what you are doing and he will help.

There are a good number of safe/secure books out there. I don't know what type of player you
          are.

If you help with some of these q's I would be more than happy in recommending 3-4 books. And remember, unlike others on these forums I am affilliated nor do I benefit from you depositing.

Do you get steam plays? What type of bets do you play?

How much are you looking at depositing?
Will you be taking it out during Baseball?

Post your answers and I will respond. Who are you betting with currently.

Do you play casino games online? If you do then there is no advice I can give you, but don't do it.

          Best regards,

          MonkeyKeeper

mary, i really wouldn't worry too much about the taxes. 1000 dollar deposit. bets will probably be what, 50-100 per play? straight bets only. Even in a good season you're likley to only be up a couple grand tops. those are not the kind of numbers you need to fret about concerning taxes. sounds like someone got inside your head and has you all worried about taxes.

                  Mary,

I would look at Canbet, they are a publicly traded firm, so you never have to worry about your money. They also offer -107 on all straight bets. I don't know if they are offering a sign-up bonus currently.

I know there are some solid Island books offering good bonuses, but why risk it. You don't want to have to worry about your money.

If you did want to go with an Island book, I would reccomend Olympic or WSEX. Both outstanding firms.

As frosty said, you will only have to worry about taxes if you win, why worry about them now. Just remember to ask for wires under 8k (10k limit, but better safe than sorry).

Good luck to you, and let me know who you like this weekend. I have the Steelers in futures, but like Chicago and New England sides, think they both are a little under rated by the media and fans.

If you feel like finding a bargain, look to see if any books keep there Superbowl/conference odds up, if St. Louis or Pittsburgh falters you can guarantee a profit.

I like the Pats as well. This will be a helluva playoff game to watch. 100% chance of snow at foxborough. The Raiders. Saturday nighT. What's better than that?
