Jazz Sports purchases ABC Islands!

Joint Press Release from ABC Islands and DPT (parent company of Jazz Sports)
DPT, the parent company of Jazz Sports and other casinos & sportsbooks, is announcing that it has purchased 100% of the assets of ABC Islands and Top of the World Sports.
DPT also acquired an interest in Loose Lines. The companies will all be moved to Costa Rica and be managed by DPT starting February 4th 2002. All customer deposits for ABC Islands, Loose Lines and Top of the World Sports will be assumed by DPT.
"We want to assure everyone that all customer deposits and balances will be a safe and secure as they were with ABC Islands since 1996. ABC Islands and Loose Lines fit in with the same style, stability and payout credibility that we are accustomed to and we felt it was a perfect fit with Jazz Sports", a representative of ABC Islands stated.
Several ABC Islands employees will be retained to ensure a smooth transition, including ABC's Sales and Accounts general manager Mark Wesly. Mr. Wesly has been at ABC since its inception and was an integral part in building the ABC customer base.
This acquisition greatly strengthens DPT's position in the industry as they now own and operate four land base casinos, an online casino, a poker site and three independent sports books with phone and online service.
