what taxes!

why in the world would you pay taxes on your winnings.the IRS would get a good chuckle if you told them your were going to claim them.take the money western union(cash at pickup)or request a check from your sports book and sign the back and cash it (dont deposit it)if you use these methods there is no trail to you.if oj simpson can get away with murder you can certainly get away with not paying taxes on your winnings.if you have something to add please do. thanks

Western Union might be cash at pick up, but it's still documented and you need a name and sometimes social security number and license to get your money.

Cashing the checks but not depositing is better, but still not great. There's still a trail right to you.

Picking up money at western union makes you feel like a criminal! Never liked it.

Well, if you were to be arrested I'm sure riots wouldn't break out all over LA, so I'm sure the authorities would not be as worried

BTW, what are the penalties of not mentioning your gambling profits to the IRS? Would it be on par with hiding regular income?
