The article above makes me totally sick. The end does not justify the means. I think Ashcroft and his bullies have hired some of the former East German Staasi officers. Adolph Ashcroft, Der Fuhrer, probably admires their old methods.

There is some poem out there about, "...When they came for me there was nobody left to care...." It's a very slippery slope.

The thing is, what Bin Laden and others hate about America is our freedom and rights, etc.etc.

They have succeeded, apparantly, in taking some of that away from us. In many ways, a victory for them.

youre right JC and Jeff and this is coming from someone whos hometown lost 6 poeple who's father was a block away thinkg he was going to die and who's cousin and freind from school ran down those stairs and barely got out with their lives.
Some increased powers are nessesery but holding people with nothing on them and trials that will be percieved by the world as fixed isn't going to make things better, i support totally the military part of this but Ashcroft is about what
i expect out of this administration and it ain't
pretty that guy is really scary. remember after ww2 their were fair and credible and open trials of the swine that killed 6 million members of my religion we can do that to any of these sob's too
