Okay, any intelligent life out there? Gotta question for a handicapping stats geek:
I know of a statistical computer formula that consistently wins about 57% of NBA games STRAIGHT UP each season. Obviously, one would never profit off of this formula picking teams ATS.
But, isn't there an excellent chance that if you picked AGAINST an NBA formula that wins 57% straight up, you would win at least 54% ATS?
I'm going to test it, but a stats geek could probably figure it out pretty quickly for me...
