I was one of those early customers that played at Bowmans several years ago when they were at the top of the heap. After seeing them fall and stoop to incredibly pitiful phone service, I emptied my account and waited, and waited, and waited.
Finally, they come on the scene with internet wagering, so I figure I'd give them another chance. First, I can't figure out how to send a payment (see separate post on that subject). This takes about a week to resolve. Then, I finally get the proper instructions on address and such, and send the cashier's check by express delivery. The check arrives on Friday and is signed for by their staff around noon. On Saturday, still the deposit is not credited to my account, so I call.
The person answering asks if I called in the deposit amount previously. No, I reply, there was never any mention of the need to do that. This person replies that the amount will entered into the system, and MAYBE the "accounting department" can find the deposit and credit it, but there is no guarantee.
Saturday evening now comes, and still no credit. This is surely a company that is operating behind the times, on a compeltely different concept of customer service than most sportsbook customers have come to know.
