JEFF: I THINK IT IS VERY IMPORTANT FOR YOU TO EXPLAIN WHAT WISEGUY OR SQUARE MEAN ON THIS SITE. SOME PEOPLE MIGHT THINK A WISEGUY IS SOMEONE WHO IS IN THE KNOW. I THINK THE TRUTH IS IF YOU POSTED SO MANY TIMES YOU BECOME A WISEGUY. HOW IN THE HELL DOES THAT MAKE A PERSON A WISEGUY? IF THEY READ A POST FROM A SQUARE THEY PROBABLY THINK HE LOSES WAGERING ON SPORTS. YOU KNOW DIFFERENT. PLEASE QUALIFY FOR READERS WHAT A WISEGUY IS ON THIS SITE. AGAIN I THINK IT IS A MULTI-POSTER WHO COULD BE A MULLET. NO OFFENSE MEANT TO PEOPLE CARRING THE WISEGUY NAME.

Steve, you're right in your observation. I think the labels are a bit tongue in cheek to poke at the way sportsbooks label "wiseguys". Many books label anyone who bets big a "wiseguy", others label those who win as such, still others label those that chase steam plays. And none of those meet Reality's definition.

Lots of books use these labels as excuses to boot players, cut their limits, or in some cases not even pay them. It's a real shame!

Steve, your comments are well taken. However, as Sportshobby stated, it is meant in jest. To be honest, I didn't think much of it either, when it was introduced some months ago. But if you hang around here long enough, I think you'll find it pretty easy to see who has something to contribute, who doesn't etc etc.
