  • 2nd opinion

While all forums try to give the best advice for their people, and Jeff has done a most admirble job for his lengthy tenure,I have always used the following as a 2nd opinion for extra scrutiny. Mainly because I believe it is an unbiased source since it accepts no advertising.Tip from a friend and confirmation from this source got me out of recent debacle in the nick of time. http://www.bettersportsbooks.com/official.htm

    DOGS,

Thanks for that great post! I was thinking of opening an account at Victor Chandler, but now I might just go elsewhere.

we thank you for your comments. we do however take exception to a number of things on the mentioned site. firstly, there are about 6 books on one page that link to the
books. those links have included in them "referrer code" which is an indication that the book is rewarding the site owner in some way shape or form.
also, for the record, the see-saw method of rating books in our opinion is pure lunacy.

for example, royal sports was "upgraded" to the recommended list and then removed from that same list in september. royal!? what the hell list were they on before they were upgraded? what did they do to be removed from recommended?

if you cannot recommend royal sports with confidence then who can you recommend?

the category movements of the books is like a see-saw. as a player how can i sign up with lets say royal on september 3 lets say when 3 weeks later they might not be on the "good" list?

i know book status changes many times but the solid ones stay pretty much solid.

we have some real questions about this newfangled site and its motives.

      just our opinion

      thanks
      brian
