  • Feels good to be back

I'm sure others feel the same. For most out there, betting on sports is a hobby. What better way to take your mind off the horrible events of the past week than to concentrate on your hobby? That's why it's important to get back into the the swing of daily life. With nothing to talk our minds off the tragic events, who knows what would happen.

    Just my 2 cents.

I don't know, Dragon. Sports betting is a passion to me. But right now, even days after those horrible events, I'm unable to really get "up" for it. I usually like to handicap with an emphasis on emotional factors. I can't bring myself to try and think just how this team or that team was affected by this. For me, it may just take more time before I really feel like I'm "back".

Don't get me wrong. I'm not "back". I think it will take some time for all of us to get back. I've had nightmares two nights in a row that were directly related to this tragedy. I can't begin to imagine what those that lost loved ones are going through.

I just meant that it was good to get my mind off of it, even if only for a little while, checking lines, doing a little handicapping, etc.etc.

If we DON'T get back to normal day to day stuff, then the bad guys will have won.

We can move on, but we WON'T forget!
