DOES REALITY HAVE ANY CREDIBILITY ???

Does REALITY have any credibility?

of course he has some credibility, (the capacity of inspiring belief in an idea or a person), but I have to agree that he loses credibility with his various tirades against other posters and his frequent retirements from posting, which never last. He seems to think that he is punishing us, the rest of the posters in the forum, by his threats of retiring. Likewise, he punishes certain individuals whom he doesn't like because they don't agree with him 100% of the time, by saying that he will not dignify their posts with a response! Ironically he does this sometimes by cutting and pasting old REALITY posts, one time with me, he posted 294 lines (I actually counted, I have no life!), the gist of which saying he wouldn't dignify my post with a reply!!!!! HUH????

I think REALITY is a most intelligent and informed individual and I would love it if he would contribute to these forums, without always bashing those who sometimes disagree with him! He could be the MOST CREDIBLE poster ever, if not the most popular, if he would just allow that there are different opinions, and HIS are not always the only ones that have any validity!

Reality has always said that he respects the opinions of his detractors. My suggestion was to have all his serious foes, hatemongering critics, etc. register with Jeff or Brian DISCREETLY at this site. If a serious issue arises that might require Reality's intervention or assistance, he'll know who he's VOLUNTARILY trying to aid.

YEAH, I DO!!

Reality continues to preach retirement because of what he preceives as lack of respect. Emotional heat of battle statements should'nt cloud credibility. How many times during sex have you told a woman............?
Credible defines as : offer REASONABLE grounds for being believed.

Do you believe with Reality's sphere of influence he could help you in a dispute with a sportsbook pro bono? If no, forget it. If yes, you can probably forget it too.

Look at the big picture, not the glitch.

What Reality can or can't do for me in a dispute with a book has very little (or nothing) to do with his lack of credibilty in these posting forums.

I've had major differences with Reality in the past and I feel that his relentless attack of me in BW last year was uncalled for. That being said, I nonetheless believe the man has credibility and integrity and is a positive and entertaining contributor to the offshore forums. The fact that he constantly retires and returns should not, in my estimation, be taken seriously. It is simply a quirk that is part of his dramatic nature.

Reality deserves respect because he is highly experienced, well-connected and, foremost, his heart is in the right place, as he strives to make the offshore biz a better place for both the books and the players.

I responded to that post and you again try to make this about me. If you think that makes you appear smart or clever, I think you are mistaken.

I have read your posts at the various forums for over a year now, and respect (and usually agree with) most of what you've written. I appreciate you sticking up for a friend, but I don't agree with you on this point, and our exchanges are going nowhere.

Reality started this thread by asking a question. I answered it and gave my reasons. If you believe otherwise, then so be it.

ALIGNING YOURSELF WITH REALITY IS DEFINITELY"PUTTING YOUR NECK ON A CHOPPING BLOCK" AND NO WAY TO INCREASE YOUR INVITATIONS TO DINNER.

UNLESS OF COURSE REALITY IS PAYING...
