Significant New Features
Line Seeker
The new Line Seeker feature alerts customers that certain predetermined lines have become available. Line Seeker can be programmed for an unlimited number of lines, including both sides and totals. For example, if the current line on the New York Jets game is +2, customers can program DBS2k to provide a visual and audio alert if the line is changed to +3 at any sportsbook.
To set a Line Seeker for a particular game:
1. Select the game you are interested in. Next, from the toolbar, click the drop-down arrow on the “Line Alerts” button
2. From the drop-down menu, click on “Line Seeker Entry form”. This will bring up the Alert Form. Here you can enter the line or total you are waiting for
3. Once you have entered your information, simply click “OK”. When your line is found, a message will pop up on your screen letting you know which sportsbook has your line
The Line Seeker feature will only alert you to lines available at the sportsbooks you have selected. To select a sportsbook to be included:
1. From the toolbar click the drop-down arrow on the “Line Alerts” button
2. From the drop-down menu, click on “Line Seeker Casino Setup”. This will bring up the Line Seeker Setup form
3. To enable all of the sportsbooks, click “Set All Casinos”
4. To enable an individual sportsbook, click on the sportsbook name in the “Casinos Enabled” window. Sportsbooks highlighted in navy indicate a sportsbook has been enabled
5. To disable all sportsbooks, click “Clear All Casinos”
6. To disable an individual sportsbook, click on the sportsbook name in the “Casinos Enabled” window
Major Line Move Alert
The Major Line Move Alert will alert customers immediately when there is a “major line move.” The parameters for what constitute a major line move are determined by the customer and programmed into the system. For example, if a customer programs the system to alert him when three sportsbooks move a line within 10 seconds, the system will provide a visual and audio alert when those parameters are met.
To set the Major Line Move Alert settings:
1. Click on the drop-down arrow on the “Line Alerts” button. Click on “Major Line Moves Setup”. This will bring up the Major Line Moves Setup form
2. Set the number of casinos you want to move. This is the number of casinos you want to move in the allotted seconds to constitute a Major Line Move
3. Set the number of seconds. This is the amount of time for the allotted casinos to move to constitute a Major Line Move
4. If you would like an Urgent Message to pop up when there is a Major Line Move, check the box “Display Urgent Message”
5. If you would like the game to be displayed in the Major Line Move window when there is a Major Line Move, check the box “Display game in Major Line Moves Window”
6. Set the number of minutes DBS2k will wait before alerting you of a Major Line Move for the same game. This setting can be used to prevent multiple messages for the same Major Line Move
7. For baseball you can set the minimum number of cents for a game to move to be a Major Line Move
8. Select the “Casinos” and “Sports” you would like to monitor
9. Click “OK” when you are finished
Bet Tracker
The DBS2k Bet tracker allows customers to log each bet made to provide a running list, then automatically grades the bets by incorporating scores into the system, telling the customer how much he has won or lost.
To use the Bet Tracker:
1. Click the “Bet Tracker” button. This will bring up the “Bet Tracker form”, with information for the selected game/casino
2. The selected casino shows up in the “Book” field, but you can enter any name you need
3. Select home/away/over/under/other. If selecting other, enter the description of the bet
4. Select a Line Type
5. Enter either the Bet Amount or the Win Amount. If “Automatically Calculate Bet/Win Amount” is checked, the Bet/Win Amounts will be calculated automatically
6. Click “Add” to add the bet without closing the form or Done to add the bet and close the form
7. Click “Next Game” to go to the next game
8. Click “Previous Game” to go to the previous game
9. You can change what bets are listed in the “List Bets for” section
10. To delete a bet, first select the bet in the list and then in the “Selected Game” section, click “Delete”
11. To ungrade a bet, first select the bet from the list and then in the “Selected Game” section, click “Ungrade”
12. To delete a bet, first select the bet from the list and then in the “Selected Game” section, click “Delete”
13. To manually grade a bet, first select the bet from the list, then in the “Selected Game” section, click “Win”, “Tie” or “Lose”
14. Click “GRADE ALL BETS” to grade all ungraded bets
15. By clicking on “ARCHIVE GRADED BETS”, all graded bets will be moved from the list to the archives
Other Fully Customizable Features
· Fixed/Scroll Columns. The screen is now split into two sections separated by a gray line. The columns to the right of the gray line scroll (The Scroll Section). These columns will move when you scroll horizontally across the screen using the ‘4’ key, the scroll bar or the arrow keys. The columns to the left of the gray line (The Fixed Section) do not scroll horizontally
· Casino columns can be moved by the drag and drop method. Click and hold the left mouse button on the heading of any column, then move the casino to the desired location and release the mouse button
· Casino columns can be resized to a custom setting. Position the mouse pointer between any columns and the pointer will change to a resizing tool. Once the mouse pointer has changed, click and hold the left mouse button. Move the mouse to adjust the column size
· Casino columns and games can be highlighted. To highlight a column, single click on a column heading. To un-highlight a column, single click on the column heading again. To highlight a game, single click on a team name. To un-highlight a game, single click on the team name again
· Casinos and games can be shaded for easier viewing. From the Setup menu choose Shading. By selecting Horizontal, every other game will be shaded. By selecting Vertical, every other column will be shaded
· Enhanced Zoom options:
· Team Zoom – Removes the Time and Opener columns and abbreviates the team names
· Casino Zoom – Shrinks all casino columns to a width of 5 characters. If a column has more the 5 characters, some information will not be seen
· Cason Zoom – Max – Shrinks all casino columns to the smallest width possible
· Score Zoom – 1 – Hides the status section of the score column. (Bot 3rd, etc)
· Score Zoom – 2 – Hides the score section of the score column
· Hide Score Column – Hides the score column
· Hide Opener Column – Hides the Opener column
· Separate Score/Info – Separates the Score and the Info column. When separated, the score column will contain just score information and the Info column will only contain information about the game. When combined, the combined column will contain information about the game until the game start, at which time it will only contain score information
· Scrolling horizontally and vertically can be done with a scroll bar
· Arrow keys can be used to move up/down or left/right
· “Auto Scroll” can be set so pages turn automatically every 5 seconds – From the Custom button drop down, click on Auto Scroll
· Changes are color coded to indicate how recent they are – When a change is first received it will be highlighted in red, and then will turn to black
· An “Info column” has been added to show injuries, weather, lineups and urgent info – The Info column can also be combined with the Score column. When combined, the column will show info for a game until the game start, then the column will show score information

o Time Zone Adjustment – Enter the number of hours ahead of PDT your time zone is. If you are behind PDT, enter a negative number (for example: ‘-2’
o Full Red __ minutes – If this box is checked, the whole game will turn red after the specified number of minutes
o Changes in Red for __ seconds – When a change first appears on the screen, it will be in a red box. It will change to a black box after the specified number of seconds
o Auto Scroll Interval __ seconds – If ‘Auto Scroll’ is enabled, this is the number of seconds the program will wait to scroll to the next game
· Fonts-> Brings up the ‘Font’ dialog box. Click ‘OK’ to save the settings, or ‘Cancel’ to cancel your changes
o Font – Select the font you want to use on your screen. The default font is ‘Courier New’
o Font Style – Select the font style you want to use on your screen. (for example: ‘Bold,’ or ‘Regular’. The default font style is ‘Bold’
o Size – Select the font size to use on your screen. The default size is 12
o Effects – Make sure both boxes are not checked and the color is ‘Black’
o Script – Make sure ‘Western’ is selected
· Casinos-> Brings up the ‘Casino Setup’ screen. To use the same setup for all ports, select ‘All Sports’ in the sports column. If you need to use different setups for different sports, choose the sport you would like to setup. To add a column to the screen, first choose either ‘Move to Fixed’ or ‘Move to Scroll.’ Next, click on the casino/column you want to add. The column will now be added. You can now re-position ‘Casino/column’ by clicking on it in either The Fixed Columns or The Scroll Columns and using the ‘Move Up’ or the ‘Move Down’ button.
o Columns Available – These are the non-casino columns available for display. Simply click on a column to move it to either The Fixed or The Scroll columns
o Casinos Available – These are the casinos available for display. Simply click on a column to move it to either The Fixed or The Scroll columns
o Move to Fixed – Select this option to move a casino/column to the fixed section of the screen
o Move to Scroll – Select this option to move a casino/column to the scroll section of the screen
o <<< Remove – Removes the selected column. It will be placed back in the appropriate ‘Available’ column
o <<< Remove All Fixed – Removes all of the columns from The Fixed Columns. They will be placed back in the appropriate ‘Available’ column
o <<< Remove All Scroll – Removes all of the casinos/columns from The Scroll Columns. They will be placed back in the appropriate ‘Available’ column
o Deselect – Deselects the currently selected casino/column
o Add the rest of the casinos – This will add any remaining casinos to The Scroll Columns
o Move Up – Moves the selected column up in the list
o Move Down – Moves the selected casino/column down in the list
o Sports box – Choose which sport you want to set up columns for. By selecting all, you only have to do the setup process one time
o Save – Saves the changes you have made and closes the form
o Cancel – Cancels any changes you have made and closes the form

o Move to Scroll – Select this option to move a casino/column to the scroll section of the screen
o <<< Remove – Removes the selected column. It will be placed back in the appropriate ‘Available’ column
o <<< Remove All Fixed – Removes all of the columns from The Fixed Columns. They will be placed back in the appropriate ‘Available’ column
o <<< Remove All Scroll – Removes all of the casinos/columns from The Scroll Columns. They will be placed back in the appropriate ‘Available’ column
o Deselect – Deselects the currently selected casino/column
o Add the rest of the casinos – This will add any remaining casinos to The Scroll Columns
o Move Up – Moves the selected column up in the list
o Move Down – Moves the selected casino/column down in the list
o Sports box – Choose which sport you want to set up columns for. By selecting all, you only have to do the setup process one time
o Save – Saves the changes you have made and closes the form
o Cancel – Cancels any changes you have made and closes the form
