  • DID SUPERBOOK PULL A FAST ONE?

WHATS GOING ON HERE? I READ ON ANOTHER SITE THESE GUYS PICKED UP AND LEFT ANTIGUA AND LEFT THE EMPLOYEES HIGH AND DRY?

CAN THIS BE SO? I DON'T CONSIDER THE SOURCE THE LEAST BIT REPUTABLE BUT PUTTING OUT SOMETHING LIKE THAT IS SERIOUS STUFF WHEN ITS SOMEBODY AS BIG AS SUPERBOOK.

DOES ANYBODY KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT THIS?

The answer to your question is no. They did NOT pull a fast one.

      Superbook will comment soon.

You can sleep at night if you're playing with Victor Chandler/ Superbook. Solid as a rock, one of the biggest names in sportsbetting in the world.

And hasn't VC been in business for like 40+ years?......albeit on a much smaller scale before offshore was born.

After seeing who wrote the article, and seeing that Victor Chandler is NOT a current advertiser there I can see very clearly what motives were behind this outrageous and false article. Some things never change.

Anxiously awaiting the word on this. I play at Superbook but would think twice about it if this is true. Maybe they aren't as solid as we all think if they are hooking up with another book.

The problem with this whole ridiculous thing is that the initial article was written in an "expose" or Enquirer style, strongly implying that Superbook were ripping off their employees and essentially leaving in the middle of the night. This is pathetic and shows a lack of responsibility by the people who wrote it. The follow-up they did was much more even tempered in that it hardly made a mention of the sensationalistic overtones of the first. One would think that there would be a better way to report on the rather mundane story of a sportsbook moving their offices......if that's what they're doing. But irresponsible people seem to have carte blanche to say anything they want. Sad!

Is it too much to ask Superbook to take 30 seconds of their time to respond to these rumors?

We've been in contact with Victor Chandler/Superbook.

They promised a statement for Thursday July 5th.

They stated that the reason they haven't commented further, is due to the fact that the first time they tried to comment, everything they said was completely twisted around.

So we'll wait for the official corporate statement.

                    Happy 4th!
