  • I have a question

Ain't no rocket scientist so don't laugh.

Can I specify a pitcher when i bet a baseball game?

what happens when or if he does not start?

    thanks

Chuckz, you can list both pitchers or just one. If the pitchers, or pitcher, doesn't start, it's no action.

You can also bet action, in which case the bet has action no matter who starts, (at an adjusted price if there's a change)

With most books you can specify one or both pitchers. If you specify both and there is a change (ie. one of the two doesn't start) then the bet is "no action" and your stake is refunded. If you specify one pitcher there are three possibilities (1) he doesn't start - "no action" and stake refunded (2) he starts against the other listed pitcher - bet stands as is and (3) he starts versus a changed pitcher - bet stands but odds are adjusted. For run lines - both pitchers are always considered specified.

Thanks guys. I now understand. I thought for example if I bet Arizona with Johnson (-200)
and they pulled him i still payed that horrendus price or vice versa if on the other side. that would be messed up.

        thanks again
