So, how's Dunes Sports doing??

Samantha and company had a few problems over there late last winter, but to their credit, they were working hard to do right and resolve all the issues and rebound.

I've kept some fun-money in there all through the tough times and have recently played it up to where I might like to request a payout soon. I've always gotten paid in the past, albiet slowly the last time back in Feb.

1) So, did everyone owed money get paid?

2) Are routine payouts being processed in a timely manner?

Many people got partial payouts up until early April, when all payout activity seemed to stop. There are rumors on one of the other boards that Dunes will resume sending checks out this week; possibly full payments.

No longer a rumor. Full payment ($4000) just arrived.

So they're still in a "slow-pay" mode huh? Damn, I was hoping that things would have been resolved by now. Well, at least folks are getting paid.

Gotta give them credit.........a stiff isn't a stiff until they flat out fly the koop and disappear.

In their case, it's been just the opposite. They haven't gone anywhere. They have paid off some pretty high balances......etc..etc.....

Still have to check up on a few guys with high balances, but they've made progress...

I wish them well and hope that they turn the corner soon. I imagine that the beginning of football season will help solidify them again finacially.

Be that as it may, I still need to make a cash payout request today. I'll let you know how it goes.

Got a prompt e-mail yesterday saying that the check will be in the mail on Monday.

So far so good...

Check arrived from DHL this morning.....(actually, DHL tried to deliver it yesterday while I was at work)

Sounds like they are almost paid up......there are still a couple of the larger balances still not paid though hopefully they will be eventually........
