MAY RECAP - FREE SPORTS MONITOR
Well, the 1st month at FREE Sports Monitor is in the books, and what a fantastic month it was. The site continues to grow daily, as we look towards the almighty football season.
One of the things we look to do, is reward the top handicappers. Generally, the Sports Services will benefit from added exposure on Bettorsworld and elsewhere, and the FREE cappers will benefit from a variety of prizes.
The prizes will never be the same from month to month. Nor will the category we give prizes for. For example, one month we might give a prize to the top totals capper, the next month we might reward the top sides player. One month it might be most units, and the next it might be best win percentage.
The reason for this is that we want to stress that the FREE Sports Monitor is NOT a contest. Once you have players making selections in an attempt to gain the most wins for example, it dilutes the pool, so to speak. In otherwords, you have players making plays for the sake of trying to win something. They wouldn't normally make these plays.
This way, the FREE Sports Monitor remains a useful tool to everyone. Whereas players are only playing games they would play in the real world.
Come football season, we will more than likely have a nice prize for the top handicappers both FREE and Pay services, when the season is done. Details will come later down the road.
For now, we'd like to recognize the top baseball handicappers for the month of May. Starting with a pay service, FORECAST 28. FORECAST 28 is the result of a newly created computer program. FORECAST 28 weighed in with a record of 117-74 for +3665. Not bad! I certainly would pay for results like that!
Over on the FREE side of things, the POSTMAN! came on strong towards the end of the month to claim the top spot for the month of May. The POSTMAN! accomplished this with an incredible run towards the end of the month. How about a run of 38-6 From May 20th to May 31st ?! WOW.
The king of baseball totals for the month of May was a familiar face around Bettorsworld, none other than AZBOB. He was 53-32 for a nice +1660 units. Nice job!
Honorable mention goes to BLUE, who held the top spot on the FREE side for most of the month, as well as MakersH20 who was right there as well.
