A similar warning was posted on the ************ a few months back, but here goes,
A few individuals have been sending bogus (scanned) Cashiers Checks for deposit, All the checks originate out of the Michigan Area, the Checks are rather good copies but lack watermarks.
If you are unsure of the checks, call the branch that "issued" the checks and have them verify the amount, and the date the check was printed. Do an internet search for the branch phone number as most aren't posted on the checks.
