  • NAB is Super Solid

NAB, a relatively new book on the Don Best Screen, is basically the old Skybook, with two of the previous three partners running the show. Also in the mix now is an absolutely trustworthy guy I know from Vegas. Believe me when I tell you this guy has more money than God. With his capital behind the book, this outfit is now like Fort Knox.

IF YOU HAD TO RATE THE TOP 10 PLACES ON THE

Reno, do you know whether all the former Skybook customers got paid? Post-up, credit players, and agents? If not, I'd shy away from a new book even if it had plenty of money backing it.

i have yet to read anything about non-payment by this book or skybook. i could be wrong, so if i am and your "spin" is correct, please layout some evidence. otherwise, for you to answer your own question negatively and cast some doubt on this book's reputation just for "arguments sake", is irresponsible.

your post implies that you know something more than you posted, so if you do, please back it up with facts.

Thechin, you're right. My questions were based solely on posts here in the forum over the past year or so. I don't know if those posts were accurate or not, and if they were, whether the situation has changed. I'll see if I can find them and be more specific.

I did the search and came up with two posts, both by "smartplayer", who claims that a lot of money is owed. The dates of those posts are 1/4/01 and 3/23/01. That's all I know.

Old Man, they will take big action. I definitely rate them among the top ten on the screen.

Sportshobby, I haven't heard one player complain about not getting paid. As far as I know, everyone has been paid. Rio took over the old Skybook's post-up business, so NAB is mainly credit now, but will actively be seeking post-up customers.

So riddle me, this, Batman....why did Skybook sell out to Rio? There were ongoing rumors about them for a while. Why sell and start a new book??

Reno...I hope your right about the new guy backing them...I know for a fact that --- still owes out a ton of money...Not too players but too friends he reached out too. He's a standup guy, but until i hear the loans are taken care of I wouldn't play with this place with your money. Their are too many other books wilth solid money behind them.

KK, Skybook sold out to Rio as a way of dissolving the previous partnership. Smartplayer, I have ZERO, and I mean ZERO, concern about playing into this book. The guy backing NAB is known to many in the offshore biz, and his reputation is almost that of a god.

Does your lack of response to their web address mean that they are a phone only book?

Let's suppose for a moment that there are debts still owed, but the new backer has tons of money. Should you play there?

Then let's suppose that the guy at the former Action Sports Wagering (who presumably stiffed a lot of people) suddenly got a backer for a new book who had tons of money. Would you play with them?
