  • Las Palmas Problem

OK, I made the following parlay yesterday:

    Under Milwaukee/Houston 11.5

Listed Pitchers were Elarton for Houston And
    D'amico for Milwaukee

    Oakland -115
    Zito - OAK
    Halama - SEA

I selected the option as play the games only if both pitchers listed start. So, as you know Milwaukee started Haynes and Not D'amico so this game should have been tossed and I should have won my parlay wager on Oakland. However, I called the book and they stated that D'Amico was never listed as a starting pitcher and that they download their pitching matchups from Don Best. Furthermore, when you review wagers there is no confirmation on what pitcher is listed for each game. Worse yet, you can't even see exactly what teams you bet, it just says 2 team parlay. Anyone else use Las Palmas yesterday and did you see this line? Its my word against theirs. (I know I should print out all my wagers but this book needs to keep better records or send out a confirmation).

I agree that the logged plays should show the listed pitchers - hopefully the sportsbook will correct that. But I logged Haynes for Milwaukee as the "listed" pitcher per DonBest screen early the morning of the game.

      Las Palmas,

It would be nice to see the pitchers also listed on the lines screen. Otherwise, you don't even see who's pitching 'till you go to place a bet. I don't know of another place that doesn't show the pitchers.
