will these guys ever get on the net for wagering? why are they so behind the times? this was the first outfit i ever played through & they have been passed by virtually every offshore outfit. anyone know why they wont get their site set up to take wagers?

Because you can't control stall tactics over the net. These guys are scared stiff to take a bet. Ask any sharp who tried playing a couple dimes a pop with them.

really? i am not a large player so i would not be aware but i always find it fascinating that an outfit so large that has been in business for so long can not set up a betting site on the net. i let my account get down low, pissed away the remainder & would never re-up with them because of that. besides, they never offer any perks like most of the others. too many good books that throw you a bone now & then!

"A couple of dimes" How about nickel bets? These clowns should not even be in business. They want losers only and I agree with udog they are afraid to take a bet therefore they will never be on the net.....

All the bs that has gone on with them(calling peoples wives and telling them there husbands bets has been cancelled because the line was off a point) and these sites still take advertising dollars from them makes you think huh?

Their sportsbook sucks, but those Gary Bowman stogies are legendary.

Bowmans's was the second sportsbook I signed up with. I've stayed with them a long time, but now that my account is pretty much spent I do not plan to re up with them unless they go online. Just a couple of years ago, they were one of the few books that were available 24 hrs a day. That sure didn't last long. Now they have their lines up later than most anyone. Most books have their lines up and available to wager on for days before Bowmans does. Since my mom was born and raised outside of London, I've always had a soft spot for anything British, but I'm done with Bowmans after the NCAA's. The offshore books such as Olympic are just so much easier and friendlier to use.

the two times i did request a payout i had no trouble with them. they are also very courteous to deal with. it is just too inconvenient ot not be able to play with them on the internet!
c'mon gary!!!!! get a site up!

I hear they are supposed to have their Internet book up soon. We'll see. They do move a little slow.

The internet wagering option for Bowman's is coming soon. I was told that 2 1/2 years ago! Don't hold your breath waiting.

Don't sweat it. I was told by a reliable source that their Internet site will ABSOLUTELY be up by the next milennium--unless, of course, there is a YK3 problem.

Good lord. I spoke to a customer service person and I could hardly understand what she was saying. What dialect is that???

they were going to be saved by getting taking over by FirstStake, then they went bust, so looks like we're stuck with the crappy site for a while yet....
