  • New Bonuses at Las Palmas

At Las Palmas or WIT Sports, when a client or potential client has a concern, we are always willing to listen and assess our position on each subject.
When coming up with a new bonus policy for Las Palmas, we tried to be as fair as possible, and in turn keep our business in mind.
We instituted our "new" bonus policy with the intention of giving our clients a large
bonus, and in turn trying to discourage the "bonus scammers", who have plagued our industry for a number of years.
So, Las Palmas has changed course and will IMMEDIATELY add 30% to all new accounts, 20% for all re-ups, and 10% for all referrals. This will be retroactive to March 1st when we first came with what is now our old bonus plan. The only stipulation now is that you will not be able to draw down on the bonus monies until you play through 5 times. Also, the 10% free play will be waived.
We apologize for any misunderstanding or misinformation given, and as always, we appreciate the readers imput and hope to serve you in a professional and friendly manner in the future. We would be remissed if we did not mention that you still have time to enter our March Madness Marathon, entries close on Thursday morning at 11am Eastern Please call 1-800-416-6101 for details. Also don't forget to check out our new browser based website at www.betlaspalmas.com.

    Thank You,

    Las Palmas Race and Sportsbook

Sounds like desparation to me. I heard these guys took a beating recently. I'd stay the hell away from offers like this. This is a book trying to solve a cash flow problem.

Sounds to me like some players were just trying to take advantage of their previous bonus policy.

I recently requested 2 payouts totaling mid 4 digits. I collected both of them with no problem on the same day.

Last time I stated a strong opinion like this was with Beteurosport and the people here didn't like it too much so I backed off. Threads were deleted, people got excited. Two months later they were out of business. I don't think this offer has anything to do with bonus scammers. You think a bonus scammer can't take advantage of 30% that has to be played 5 times? If anything these generous offers will encourage scammers. What's next? 40%? 50%? Or how about bonuses for all players that leave their money on deposit for baseball? All I'm saying is open your eyes. These books make offers as if they are talking to a bunch of 3 yeard olds. No wonder the scamdicappers thrive. Some people see an offer like this and want to give these guys a parade. I see this offer and it tells me that basketball is winding down and then all we'll have is baseball. So let's give juicey incentives for players to reload so we're healthy until football comes along.

                Dragon,
To respond to both of your posts about
Las Palmas, first of all, we are probably the
most solvent sportsbook in Costa Rica. If you
had bothered to make a simple phone call and
investigate, you would have found out that Las Palmas was purchased by the WIT Sports
group in September of last year. We do not
believe that ANYONE, including you, will say
that the WIT group is not a major player in our industry-- not bad since we have only been in business since last July.
What we are trying to do is create an
atmosphere which caters to the smaller end player at Las Palmas. Very similar to the
big side /small side of all the major sports
books in the world. Yes we are offering large
bonuses, however the fact of the matter is,
had you bothered to take the time to check
out our website, or our product, you would have seen that we are in this for the long haul. But no, you would rather just rant and
rave about something obviously you have no
                knowledge of.
In the future, we believe that ALL posters should have their facts straight before going on line to ridicule someones
business. Please, take the time to make a simple phone call and get to know the players involved. We are sure that if you
get the "runaround", even the least informed
will know when they are being lied to.
If you would like to become a member,
or if you have any questions, feel free to
call Las Palmas at 1-800-416-6101. Or check
out our new browser-based website at www.betlaspalmas.com.
And remember, there is still time to enter our March Marathon contest for the NCAA Mens tourney
                Thank You,
                Las Palmas Sports

I am well aware of who you are and you just helped prove my point. You have been in business since last July. Wow! That's a lifetime. You come in here and tout yourselves to be the mother of all sportsbooks and that's ok. People are suppossed to just blindly believe that. I say, that's not the case. Your post is an ad to draw people in. My post is to tell people to wake up and look more closely. The most solvent book in Costa Rica????? That's an insult to those that paved the way. Get in line.I'm done with this subject. I've made my point. Good luck
