  • I personally met eith Craig of Craig/NASA tonight

Well, I don't think I have made more than one post about this topic up until now, if even that much. I have followed it very closely from the first time I heard about it before it was on the forums. I have always had some basic opinions on the matter but I also had several questions.

Tonight I took advantage of my geographical proximity to Craig and met with him for over two hours. I wanted to speak with him in person, not on a posting board or via email. I told him I would post my thoughts and opinions on the matter including the content of our conversation and he had no objections.

My only agenda concerning this matter is the good of the industry.

    Well here are my thoughts.

I believe that Craig bet the parlays in good faith.

I DO NOT believe he was trying to scam the sportsbook.

I believe he should have been paid on demand, after a 24 hour investigation if they saw fit, but paid in the final analysis.

I believe Craig NEVER agreed to give 13 K to charity.

I believe that if it wasn't for Major Wager's involvement he would not have seen more than 8 K, and only after a fight.

I believe there was more bickering than necessary between the two watchdog sites.

I believe OSGA is totally controlled by NASA.

My biggest question was why didn't Craig come back and blast NASA when he got back from CR in mid-January? After speaking with him it all makes sense. If you recall when he first returned he wasn't saying anything anywhere, that was his plan, to say nothing. The reason was he didn't leave CR with a nickel. He still had the 13,000 they did agree to pay him plus another 5,000 sitting in his account. He wanted to say nothing until he had at least received those funds in full. It was only after everyone was asking, "where's Craig?" that he posted what he did. All along he was waiting to get his money out at which point he would demand the missing 13,000 or tell the truth. After taking his money out about 2,500 at a time, over the course of a month, he once again demanded his balance. After NASA refused, he returned to the posting forums.

He had been assured by Ken that all he had to do was go down there and he would get his money. Why that should be a requirement I have no idea. He didn't want to go, but he was getting nowhere, so he finally gave in. NASA was apparently obsessed with two things. Number one, did he make the plays himself? and number two, bashing Major Wager.

I have no idea what either of those topics has to do with whether they accepted the plays and should they pay out on them.

Basically NASA had the upper hand the whole time. They were holding the money.

After Craig had lengthy discussions with Gary, Scott, and Lou, NASA concluded that Craig didn't make the plays. They wanted to give the 13 K to charity not Craig. Craig never agreed to the charity plan. He took what he could and got out of there.

So, this is where it's at now. As far as I am concerned NASA still owes him $13,000. I don't think he will ever see it from them. They have proved once again that no matter how much money they spend on advertising, they have no comprehension of how much a bad reputation can cost you.

According to Craig, Ken played the role of the skillful politician until he was pressed by public pressure from Major Wager to make a move. I did not write down dates as all of this progresses so I am not commenting on who helped when. But I will say this. Either Ken knew the whole time that NASA didn't settle in full (which Ken denies) or NASA lied to Ken as well. Either way, as Craig put it, "Ken should be blasting them out of the water."

The ironic part of Craig's trip was when Gary told Craig that WSEX gives the industry a bad name. I nearly fell out of my chair. A bad name because they look like they are having a good time on the island and not wearing suits and ties. Well, I say, suits and ties are no substitute for prompt payment on demand, payment without the requirement to show up in person.

Aliases, slow paying, and no paying has done more to tarnish this indutry's image than any game of golf or employee wearing flip flop sandals in the office ever did.

NASA, do the right thing and PAY YOUR CUSTOMERS!!!!!!!

    That's the bulk of it.

    jay,

why is nasa no longer on the rx? is it because of public pressure or the fact they simply could not provide nasa with any sizeable sign-ups? its seems clear the relationship has been severed, but by whose doing.
a newsletter sent out by the rx strongly implied that nasa was funding his lawsuit against bettorsworld in an effort to rid the both rx and nasa's competition.

b'world, inc. is making some legal decisions based on the answers to those questions.the answers we believe we have but would like confirmed.

we welcome nasa to come in and clear the air on this matter here in bettorsworld.
lets all start being truthful aroung here and stop the spinning.

    question to nasa:
did you or are you currently helping the rx in his lawsuit against bettorsworld?
if it is not nasa, then who is it? the newsletter clearly states that the rx is getting financial backing from a sportsbook. we can only assume it is nasa.

WSEX is unprofessional because the operators don't wear suits and ties???

How stupid is that. Microsoft and IBM employees don't even wear suits and ties anymore. Talk about your lame comments.

NASA is a joke, plain and simple.

this seems like a debacle caused by a longshot parley that craig was lucky enough to win. no wiseguy in the world would even think a underdog 6-team parlay could or would pop. nasa took the bet with a giggle and must have said "easiest monet we ever made". they were wrong. and now they don't want to pay. thats my take on this.

Finally some people that agree with me! I posted that NASA was ripping me off last year in another forum. He deleted my posts and said I was clueless. I won't name any names But his name starts with an R and ends with and O But he gets paid by them, so to him they are great. Just cause a book is huge, doesn't mean they are good!
