  • Customer Service for Smaller Players

As an active but smaller player who doesn't bet dimes, I would like to give kudos to 2 books, Bet Anything, and Gameday, for the great customer service they afforded me recently. My CC company suddenly started charging a deposit as a cash advance, and both of these great books generously refunded this small amount to my account when I asked, even though they also gave me generous bonuses when i posted with them.
This is what keeps players. Meanwhile, another well respected book here which I will not mention refused to credit me, even though I never received any type of bonus from them and have lost well over a grand the past year playing with them. I had posted up with them before and never incurred a charge, but apparently they changed CC processors and deposits there are now treated as a cash advance.
I have no doubt that if I was a dime player, I would not have been refused. My point is, if you are a small player, I would suggest posting up at the smaller places like Bet Anything which cares about every customer and will go the extra mile to keep them.
The places that offer nothing might be solid, but they don't care about postups under a few grand and the service you get will suck. Again no names, but I must say I am really dissappointed with a certain book who gets raves here from the big boys.
Here are books I would recommend highly for smaller players:
    1. Bet Anything
    2. Fairdeal Sports
    3. Gameday
    4. Big Book (yeah I know the software sucks but their customer service people are tops when you call!)
    5. Sports Interaction
    6. Olympic (never saw a bad word about them anywhere)

Places I am considering posting up with for baseball: All World, Carib, Grand Central, and Casablanca. If anyone has any feedback on these books, it would be appreciated, especially if they deal a dime line.

I will say this for the BIG BOOK, they pay
very quickly. As far as their customer service, I found them to be the nastiest,
most obnoxious of all books that I've ever
    dealt with(including locals). The only
comparason I can think of would be, is to
say that they have the same "people skills"
as the people that work in the DMV( Div.of Motor veh.).

      Hi Bruce 1972,

We would be more than happy to sign you up an account with our company. Big or small we try to treat all of our clients alike. If you call in to our business and don't get the kind of customer service that you deserve as a client be sure and ask for me. I think that you will find our customer service reps are some of the most professional people that you will find in the industry. No matter which one of the books on your list that you choose, i am sure that you will be very happy with any of them.

      Thanks and good luck.

Hi Rick. Believe it or not, I posted up with you guys this morning and am just reading your reply now. Your customer service was great and my bonus was in my account in minutes after the post hit. Thanks a lot for replying and I am looking forward to playing with you guys. I just hope you do deal the 10C baseball line as I read earlier.
        Regards, Bruce

Customer service is HUGE these days. The books that lag in this department will suffer.

It's great for the players to have a guy like Rick respond to their questions and concerns in the forum. It lets the customers know that someone is on the other end, so to speak.

What some of the bigger shops forget, is that new players find their way to the net every day. To them, there's no difference between the giants in the biz and the little guys, and the book that makes the best impression on them is the book they will post up with.

All players big and small, deserve to be treated with respect!

                Hi Phat,

We try to treat each and every client with the same respect that we want them to treat us with. It does'nt matter if they are a big client or a small client there questions and problems are the same to them, important. We don't claim not to ever have a dispute with a client but we do claim to try and solve their dispute or problem in a timely and professional matter. I try especially hard to get our customer reps to understand that although it may not be a big problem to us or a serious problem to us, it could be in fact a big or serious problem to our clients, and our job is to get it solved and do the best that we can do to make the client happy. I am sorry to say it does'nt always work but we try very hard in each and every case to be fair to the customers and at the same time be fair to the owners of this business. I have in many cases listed my e-mail address and my private telephone number here in these public forums, so that if anyone has a dispute with one of our customer reps and he/she feels that they have not been treated fairly, then all they have to do is contact me directly and i will then do my personal best to try and satisfy our clients. Hope this answers any of your questions and or concerns about All World Sports, and you may also contact me if you would like to talk to me about any thing concerning our business.
My e-mail is rick1@interneeds.net and my private telephone number is 1-800-981-4794.

                Thanks and good luck.

                Rick
