As an active but smaller player who doesn't bet dimes, I would like to give kudos to 2 books, Bet Anything, and Gameday, for the great customer service they afforded me recently. My CC company suddenly started charging a deposit as a cash advance, and both of these great books generously refunded this small amount to my account when I asked, even though they also gave me generous bonuses when i posted with them.
This is what keeps players. Meanwhile, another well respected book here which I will not mention refused to credit me, even though I never received any type of bonus from them and have lost well over a grand the past year playing with them. I had posted up with them before and never incurred a charge, but apparently they changed CC processors and deposits there are now treated as a cash advance.
I have no doubt that if I was a dime player, I would not have been refused. My point is, if you are a small player, I would suggest posting up at the smaller places like Bet Anything which cares about every customer and will go the extra mile to keep them.
The places that offer nothing might be solid, but they don't care about postups under a few grand and the service you get will suck. Again no names, but I must say I am really dissappointed with a certain book who gets raves here from the big boys.
Here are books I would recommend highly for smaller players:
1. Bet Anything
2. Fairdeal Sports
3. Gameday
4. Big Book (yeah I know the software sucks but their customer service people are tops when you call!)
5. Sports Interaction
6. Olympic (never saw a bad word about them anywhere)
Places I am considering posting up with for baseball: All World, Carib, Grand Central, and Casablanca. If anyone has any feedback on these books, it would be appreciated, especially if they deal a dime line.
