As long as we're fantasizing, do you think Spiro (or any other bm with such a stellar reputation)would let you hedge the 15th event after 1 through 14 had won? As in, can I have 50k on credit to play the spread against my last game?

    JLP,

    I CAN'T SPEAK FOR SPIRO.

I'VE GIVEN IT SOME THOUGHT AND I HONESTLY DON'T KNOW WHAT HIS REPLY WOULD BE.

WHAT IF IT WAS A POINTSPREAD GAME WHERE THE PLAYER TOOK +9 AND IT WAS NOW -10 OR 10.5?

WHAT IF HE TOOK +1.50 AND NOW THE LINE NOW IS -1.80?

PERHAPS THE GREEK WOULD ANSWER THIS ?

Well I don't know about any of you but I do believe that a $5 10 team moneyline parlay is nowin my playbook.once in a lifetime or maybe get real lucky and hit 2 3 or 4.one thing that I do know YOU CAN'T WIN A BIG ONE IF YOU DON'T PLAY IN A BIG ONE!!!

        Realita

Actually I wasn't having a shot at olympic, about only paying out $100,000 (because $100,000 is as big as Ladrokes or a william hill will pay out in a day) but more about that it was a bet to far

And yes it was a great lotto win

        Alex

you are right, most putters couldn't work out parlay payout in American format

a 100,000 cap is very reasonable and a book
must have a cap or else what happens if a 40 team parlay hits that pays 5 million dollars and the bookcant pay it who wins then. Also a hacker if some how he can past
post a parlay could bankrupt a book also. That said some notation on the top of a parlay screen would be helpful i don't know where olympics 100,000 cap was placed on the
betting screen or buried in the rules page.I do think it's ridiculous to ask the software
not to accept parlays that pay more than the cap because since most 5 dollar miracle parlay players are not going to care if it pays 100 or 110 grand if it hits and after a rejected bet you would have to change your wager suppose this guy realized that he was
gettin only 100 instead of 143 if his parlay
hit and to get it closer to the correct odds
throughout a dog on the money line and put
in a favorite that blew the bet. Notice YES
            but rejected bet NO

              Rich,

I agree with you. Probably, it is too much to ask software to reject parlays that pays more than the cap.

What if the person who made the bet was thinking: "One match may get cancelled and I want to make sure I get not less than 100k"?

But a notice is absolutely necessary. If the maximum payout cap is just stated somewhere on Olympic's site, the bettors are not supposed to check this page every time they place a bet.

Talking about much more realistic REALITY's example, what if after hitting this 4 teamer at CRIS he then found out that the max payout cap at CRIS is just $80 000?

                Alec,

If a play gets cancelled on your 15 teamer and you only won 80k, you can still put the 80k into play to get to the 100k figure.
It not like there won't be another money line favorite as good as Orlando -230.
