  • Dunes?

...been away for a while. Don't know if Oddswiz of Brian have touched on this subject but what's the deal with Dunes, officially? It's still on your 'list'. I know Samantha has been nothing less than accomodating in the past and I have never had problems with this outfit but I am not able to make a W/D until 'friday'. What's up? I just re-upped with them right before super bowl for a small four figure sum. It's doubled now so I want to w/d my initial investment. I can't. I'm getting a little nervous, especially after reading the recent posts. Jeff?

Just to answer a few Dunes questions......they are not currently on "the list". If you saw them there, you are getting a cached copy.

They will be removed from the top of this page by tomorrow.

We have been in touch with them daily for the past few weeks.

Based on the information provided to us, we believed then, and now, that they will get thru this, and post up players will be paid.

If this does not occur, we will make available all the info we have to the public.

The info was given to us in confidence. We will not break that confidence, UNLESS the confidence we put in their word is broken. And their word, to us, was that everyone would be paid, and they would continue on.

At this point, We still believe that to be the case, based on the info given to us.

Jeff, I must be getting a cached copy too. What's the best way to keep that from happening?

On microsoft browser, you need to go to internet options, and in the general tab, delete temporary internet files and clear history.

With netscape, I believe there is a "clear cache" feature.

Jeff, thanks for the quick reply! I'm currently using internet explorer. Does this mean I need to go through those steps every time I access the list in order to be certain I'm not retrieving an old copy?

You shouldn't have to.......under the options section, under delete files, check the settings to make sure the browser checks for a new copy of each page you visit.
