Neteller trasnfer between friends?

Since the Neteller web site is devoid of any useful info, I thought I'd ask you guys.

If both I and a buddy of mine have Neteller accounts, can we make free transfers between our accounts? Or does Neteller only allow you to make transfers between yourself and merchants?

As far as I know this is not an available option through Neteller. However, if both you also open Paypal accounts you can transfer to each other using them. After transfering to each other using Paypal then transfer from paypal to Neteller. I really hope Neteller will make this available soon because then I would use them exclusively. Good luck.

Agrees, Neteller will be a complete package once they allow that. Thankfully some sportsbooks will allow you to do quick transfer (internal) to a friend's account.

I know most books allow tranfers from one another within the book for free.

Neteller transfers are not free. As of now most books allow it to be so. In the future when they become as prevalent as I suspect, there would indeed be a fee for the transaction you propose.

It would be great if they worked just like paypal. That way transfers between private accounts would be free of charge and would make Neteller the only money transfer system that we need.

On a side not I wonder how much Western Union's profits will fall after losing business from sportsbooks and bettors alike?
